    Atoms

I can't even begin to fathom physical universes existing adjacently.. But imagine the Russian dolls thing, but in a loop! Our universe is contained inside another universe which is contained inside another universe etc.etc. until you get to a universe that is contained within our universe! My...

    Atoms

I can tell! Just finished watching the expanding earth clip you posted in that other thread. A great work of fiction if I've ever seen one.

    Atoms

I've often wondered the exact same thing! :) You might really enjoy reading about the many multiverse hypotheses.

    Atoms

The number of atoms is irrelevant. Atoms can be divided or combined. A better question I think would be "Is there infinite mass/energy in the universe?"

    Our Earliest Ancestors

afarensis (Lucy) was almost definitely bipedal. It's her femur, pelvis, and knee that give it away. Couldn't have been a knuckle-walker. Arms were too short when compared to the legs, the pelvis is all wrong, and the forearms don't have the robustness we expect to see from a habitual...

    The Dodwell Data now out!!!!!

His conclusion that something dramatic must have happened ~4300 years ago was based off the assumption that prior to this happening the tilt of the earth's axis was 0, unless I read it incorrectly (which I might have). You love pointing out assumptions and how they ruin a theory, Dad. I'm...

    Our Earliest Ancestors

Homo floresiensis is so cool! Anyway... Before anyone jumps in shouting "Not all scientists agree on this so all modern science must be a lie!!!", I want to point out a one place where there is real debate with the more likely answer not being on this list. What is commonly cited as Homo...

    What Would it Take?

You know what? You're right! Over 90% of the American National Academy of Sciences members are fools!!! ... oh wait... some people here sadly might actually believe that...

    A flat earth

The circumnavigation I propose, however, is not east-west. I understand completely how that can be accomplished on a disk world. No, I say that circumnavigation is possible from all directions. East-west, north-south, northeast-southwest, southeast-northwest. This is not possible on the...

    A flat earth

I still submit circumnavigation as evidence. It was pointed out to Asycthian multiple times that his dismissals were not adequate. As for the mast head and pole star arguments, I was not registered on the forum while those were going down and didn't bother to read the thread before I started...

    What is a "kind"?

Tetrapods are a myth invented by Darwinists. They just assume that they exist. Besides- last I looked, parrots only had two feet, not 4. Checkmate!

    What is a "kind"?

But surely they are parrot-kind! They both have feathers and beaks and live in tropics! Are these not all ways to accurately classify organisms!!!??? Unless our resident Baraminologist can provide evidence to the contrary, that is.

It's official: An asteroid wiped out the dinosaurs

Sorry, I should have been clearer. The "big hole" is referring to the niches that were filled, and then weren't. With the dinosaurs gone, the competition for the resources the dinosaurs consumed was also gone, leaving a "hole" for the surviving mammals to evolve into.

A temple complex in Turkey that predates even the pyramids

Not exactly true. This temple is from 11,500 years ago. Not the earliest sign of "religion". That would be ceremonial burial sites and cave drawings. But there's no doubt that religion predates civilization, and was probably a driving factor in the development of civilization. Still a very very...

It's official: An asteroid wiped out the dinosaurs

Most human's would die if a major asteroid hit. We kind of suck at living. Anyway... A lot of mammals did die when the dinosaurs got wiped out. The ones that did survive were small and lived underground or in aquatic areas (swamps, lakes). They were small enough to survive off what limited...

These guys can't climb trees either! But no, you're right. Humans definitely can't climb trees...

Ok, good so far. What else we got? Right?

The Earth is Old: a message to my fellow Christians

Just a side note- I've always found it amusing that some creationists get so worked up over the idea that they evolved from monkeys, then say with glee that they were created from dirt.
