If you had unmistakable proof that God didn't exist...

Man, none of that was proof. Even the fact that you state that moral subjectivists are "nice" is a statement that is based on objective standards. If morality is subjective, then that statement loses all of it's argumentative power and you've said nothing. Godwin's law is an internet joke...

Should freedom be restricted by moral...

Yes, it is something of a paradox, although if everyone acted perfectly morally, no government would be necessary. In a utopia, of course. Since humans cannot all be perfectly moral, government is necessary as a choice of lesser evils (bigger government being bigger evil!).

Should freedom be restricted by moral...

That's a fair description. Because the objectivity is often obscured does not make it subjective. Science is obscured, but we pursue it because we believe certain truths exist that we can know. This is even the case when objective morality is obscured when presented with moral "dilemmas"...

Should freedom be restricted by moral...

Even if the religion itself says that using fear to subjugate people is wrong (in which case any use of fear to subjugate others would be, by definition, against the religion)?

Should freedom be restricted by moral...

    Religion leads to absolute destruction?

Should freedom be restricted by moral...

Wrong is an objective statement. You're saying something is not right. Now, you are really saying that truth is relative, not morality. Because if you state to yourself that murder is wrong, that is a statement of truth that you believe, a statement of fact. So if I want to steal something...

Should freedom be restricted by moral...

I disagree that they're personal opinions. Wrong implies a truth, so what you're now saying is that truth is relative, too. Wrong implies that there is something to compare the act to that measures it as wrong or right. You cannot even tell yourself that killing is wrong if morality and truth...

Gay preaching on proper sexuality: Born Gay

To show that the argument that people are born a certain way justifies behavior. It doesn't. The same "escape" that is available for heterosexuals who desire more than one woman. Don't do it. I agree. Paul said that homosexual desires were "vile affections".

Should freedom be restricted by moral...

Wow, thanks for avoiding the questions. From a Christian standpoint, if a Christian said God told them to kill someone, I'd doubt their sanity. Jesus left no orders to kill anyone. But, let's assume God did tell someone today to kill. If you believe morality is subjective, you cannot even...

French Homosexuals Plan “Kiss-In” at Notre Dame Cathedral

No, it proves that they attempted it in the first place, since you have to actually do something before being sued. Nice try, though.

I think you've confused me with someone else. You might check on that.

Should freedom be restricted by moral...

Desire is subjective. I haven't gotten to God just yet. If one person believes killing is okay and you do not, how do you decide who's right? a. Appeal to human rights, and then to the question of where rights come from. No doubt many who claim morality is subjective claim rights are...

If you had unmistakable proof that God didn't exist...

Kind of like Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, Hitler.... oh wait, they were fans of moral relativism, Hitler a huge fan of Neitzsche, for example. I don't think you want to compare body counts.

    1/4 Young Americans Nonreligious

No, that was the result of a couple of posters taking statements out of their context.

Gay preaching on proper sexuality: Born Gay

Saying so does not make it true. You're therefore saying that there's no difference between racism and the belief that cheating on your wife is sinful. The refusual to look at this and extend your own logic to the rest of your religious views is astonishing.

Gay preaching on proper sexuality: Born Gay

Actually it does, but you apparently can't see the distinction. I'll take your silence as a statement of two things: 1) You can't tell the difference between a person and their actions. 2) You think people who have moral issues with homosexuality are equivalent to racists...

French Homosexuals Plan “Kiss-In” at Notre Dame Cathedral

The Safe Space group was sued because they were using public university supported resources to promote churches that were pro-homosexual.

Gay preaching on proper sexuality: Born Gay

I have repeatedly. Being a homosexual is different from homosexual acts. How many times do I have to post this before you read it and acknowledge it? Because they're two different things. You're implying it's the same thing as racism, and...

Gay preaching on proper sexuality: Born Gay

You most certainly have. Actually, I've answered it about 10 times now. That you don't acknowledge an answer is your problem, not mine. Is the Pope racist, in your opinion? What's your opinion on the Pope's statements that I linked...
