    Lying for the Gospel's sake?

exactly! Excellent point. I get "inconvienienced" just crossing the border to go home and see family, and that is between CAnada and the States. I wouldn't think about lying to make it "easy". No justification to lie. It is a sin period.

Could this be the revival we have been praying for?

I agree Balance. It isn't going to be about a person. It is nameless and faceless. I too believe it starts with individuals.

How well do we hear the voice of God?

I guess that depends on how you see God. I see Him as my Poppa, my Abba...who will not with hold any good gift. SO if that is me asking for a confirmation, He won't with hold it.

How well do we hear the voice of God?

amen Mollie Sue. God isn't confined to what we think. He SO loves us, that HE does answer desperate prayers.

What lessons can we learn from this?

Thank you for fixing it so I could read it. wow Jim!! While I have never liked Shuller, I don't wish him any bad. BUT I also see him as the precurser to Rick Warner..and the "feel" good gospel. It is sad that it came to that for that church. I think it will be interesting to see how God uses this.

How well do we hear the voice of God?

I agree Jim. The Word does say that. AND an "idoloturous" people seek for signs. I also think God in His mercy and grace grants signs too. Especially to the 'unsaved'. What does it hurt them to ask for a sign as has been posted here? I guess I should clarify. I don't ask for a sign, but more...

How well do we hear the voice of God?

NO, not totally. I absolutely trust God, and once in a while, I still ask for a sign. Signs and wonder shall FOLLOW. I don't think it is a lack of faith.

Could this be the revival we have been praying for?

my very wise 20 year old son said to me the other day. He is a member of another board, but what he found to be true, and so do I, as played out in this thread, when people start repeating themselves, getting defensive or ignore certain posts, means they know they have lost the argument. One...

Could this be the revival we have been praying for?

EXACTLY! I was not baiting, nor was it my intent to bait. I was posting MY opinions. And the fact that Jim is getting defensive about it, tells me he got caught in his own game. Well, sorry Jim. As you said, GET OVER IT!

Could this be the revival we have been praying for?

funny, it is more than just Servant seeing it. You make an accusation, then you don't want to defend it? That is cheap and very fishy.

Could this be the revival we have been praying for?

I LOVE the irony of this. AND, I don't think Servant was too far off. There is ALOT of negativity from certain folks.

Have you ever wondered about this?

GOd doesn't make anyone burn in hell. THey are there by their own choice. God never intended hell for people. As I was saying, Bethel in California is taking the gospel to the streets and seeing amazing things happen. THAT should be the norm. But it isn't because people don't want to pay...

    Lying for the Gospel's sake?

God has a history of lying? UH no. It wasn't a lie. God told Samuel what to say in order not to get killed. God canNOT lie. Period. This whole thing is quite disturbing, that people actually think God can lie. WOW. Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he...
