    Richy Dawkins the Agnostic???

In his book The God Delusion Dawkins explained his position, that he does not believe god exists. However he believes the non-existence of god cannot be "proven" (scientifically of course). That pretty much sums up why some Atheists, call themselves 'Agnostic Atheists'.

    Basis for Church Membership

In my church (Presbyterian Church of Australia) when you want to become a member you are interviewed by the pastor and do some studies. Then your application for membership is discussed between the pastor and elders. When I became a member at my current church the whole process only took a...

Is there such a thing as decent contemporary Christian music?

There is good contemporary Christian music out-there, the Sons of Korah are a good example. However a lot of contemporary copy the styles of secular popular music and graft it with christian themes. Hence why it is not good, I think christian musicians should be reminded they are in the world...

God praised for good, but not blamed for bad?

You asked a very good question here and I will try to answer it the best way I can. Firstly, not all Christians subscribe to idea of god being completely and total sovereign, although I do which is the biblical position. However because of the sin which entered during the fall, creation has...

    How Pro-Life Are You

I only believe abortion should only occur if a woman's life or health is in danger then an abortion. Also I am pro-life to the extent that stem cell research on embyros should be completely outlawed.

The Problem with Treating Genesis as an Allegory

While I am a "young earth creationist", I don't believe that the creation of the Earth went exactly as it said in Genesis. Also I am not critical if other Christian was a different view on the origins thing. Although I treat Genesis fairly literally, although not too literally and certainly not...

What do you do to control 'meltdowns'?

I used to get meltdowns occasionally when I was extremely stressed and frustrated. However I have not had a meltdown for nearly 2 years now. However the Holy Spirit changing me helped to have a different perspective on things. Preventing the sort of emotions being generated that lead to a meltdown.

    Socializing

I would rate my difficulties in socializing at around 7. I never have panic attacks thankfully. While socialize all-right one to one, in group situations I don't fare as well. Also doing small-talk is difficult for me.

    Autism and evangelism

A Catholic friend (theologically different than myself) who is familiar with my condition (AS), said not all us are meant to be Evangelists. Not being able to evangelize very well because you are autistic, does not mean that you don't have other gifts for the building up of the body of Christ...

    Creation or Evolution

I will say I am a young earth creationist, however the bible does not give us exact dates on when the world was created (Ussher's date and others are estimates). On this issue I thinking more along the theology than the science, since the bible is not a science textbook as such). I would...

What are your feelings on CCM (or contemporary music, in general)?

In my case secular, the Christian friends I have who prefer secular over a lot of CCM, get quite a bit of flack from other Christians over their preferences.

What are your feelings on CCM (or contemporary music, in general)?

That pretty much mirrors my thoughts on the subject. For myself anyway, I can't get into a lot of contemporary Christian music or Christian music in general, I just don't find it particular good and sometimes theologically sound. Although I have no objection to contemporary music like say rock...

Lol, seriously he is not into converting Protestants. Unlike some of the people at my church, who believe converting Catholics to Protestantism is desirable.

    Need some advice

Since I’ve become a Christian (an Conservative Evangelical mind you), I’ve been wondering to get rid of a lot of my secular music collection. Because I feel it promotes themes Christianity condemns. Instead I just listen to the Christian music I enjoy and secular music which promotes Christian...

    Question

A friend of mine, who is a convinced roman catholic, came along to me to a service in the Presbyterian Church I attend. A few days after the service, a friend of mine who attends the same church as me, noticed my other friend was touching the columns supporting the church while praying. Also I...
