are some people unable to believe?

Where does the Bible tell us to accept Christ into our hearts? Praying and reading the Bible are results of already being born again for the unregenerate do not have a desire to do these things nor does a person become saved by doing these things for we are saved by grace through faith and that...

are some people unable to believe?

Not those who have already perished before hand. I realize the gospel will be preached to all the nations before the end comes but this doesnt apply to the millions upon millions who have perished many many years ago without ever hearing the gospel message of Christ.

are some people unable to believe?

I dont see how all are called when all dont get the chance to hear the gospel. Millions upon millions of people have perished who never once had the gospel of Jesus Christ presented to them which is itself the invitation. http://bible.cc/matthew/22-14.htm

    Goodbye CF

Seriously, this place has gotten to be pretty disgusting as of late. Lots of bitterness between each other in the forums and the most heart breaking is the lack of patience from some of you who are older and often looked upon for help and spiritual growth. I know I have had my share of...

    Predestination according to Calvinism

Yes, evil men such as Bin Laden, Hitler etc were only as evil as God allowed them to be. Even those men were restrained to a certain point by the power of God. Without the restrainer "Holy Spirit" this world would be a zillion times worse than it is today.

    Predestination according to Calvinism

See its passages like these which make Calvinism confusing for me. Why would God bother to call people who he never intended to save? It looks to me like he calls and then gives us the option of saying yes or no to his call. We see right here what happens to those whom turn a deaf ear to Gods call.

    Predestination according to Calvinism

Its high time I drop out of this "free will-calvinist" debate and leave it far behind because I truly believe the enemy can use these debates against us to create confusion and ultimatly keep us from the only one who can save us which is Jesus Christ.

    Predestination according to Calvinism

I dont know if it was or not, I just know that to me from what I have heard it sure seemed like he was under conviction. Sadly enough this isnt the only person I have ever heard of doing this before and dare I say it happens more than people are aware of. Thanks, I have listened to it before...

    Predestination according to Calvinism

Well, seems to me that the boy was being dealt with by the Spirit of God because the only way a man can know or have the desire to respond is if the Holy Spirit is convicting him. At that moment this young man was at the same crossroads that many in others have also been at before, he was on the...

    Predestination according to Calvinism

A couple of things I have to question, if God had decided to cast him out before his very creation then why and how did this boy come under conviction and admit "after the fact" that he wanted to come forward but instead chose his sin? What was it that gave the boy the desire to come forward...
