House of 1,000 Corpses isn't your conventional horror film. I don't get where you see it being cliché. It also was a precursor to one of the best films in the past decade, The Devils Rejects.

I thought it was decent at best. The story line was absolutely awesome, like how the whole thing started, and why it started, but they could have executed it much better.

I'd like to point out something that really made me mad. People acted like they never saw a penis before this film. Every time Manhattan was on the screen, some immature person would laugh. Was anyone else thoroughly aggravated by the immaturity of their audience?

Pick up both House of 1,000 Corpses and the sequel The Devils Rejects. The Devils Rejects is less of a horror film, but House of 1,000 Corpses is pretty much straight up horror.

It was an amazing movie regardless...
