Should I volunteer in a local Church?

Well I have many years IT Tech experience, though I've never done any video streaming before. Should I still go for it? And if it's a learning experience for me to do this task, is that good for my faith?

Should I volunteer in a local Church?

Hi there, I'm a new Christian, and a Church local to me I was Baptised in earlier this year. Christianity that Works

I'm a fan of Joel Osteen, and I've heard one of Joel's sermons where he says, pray for others as well as your needs. Answered prayers are in God's timings, not our timings. I hope that helps. Lee.

    Praying as a new Christian

Hi all, When I pray, I mentions God all the time, and not so much the name Jesus. If I'm correct, The Father, The Son, The holy spirit 3 in 1. Trinity. So God, also mean Jesus, and visa versa. So it's okay to just say God? Personally I see God, as the Father, and Jesus, as the Son of God...

Are modern Bible translations as good as the old ones? KJV versus ESV versus NKJV

Sorry I'm new to this thread - and a newest follower of the faith - so excuse me, but seeing that the NIV Bible is the most popular in English language, should that be the one we read that is most accurate?

Do Christians need to belong to a church?

I agree. Go when you can. I go once every 3-4 weeks for a Sunday service. I enjoy it. I pray mainly at home in a special place in my apartment. I'm sure God will understand.
