That could potentially have a lot to do with it. I carry around garbage from childhood. Garbage that I know I need to let go, but I never seem to let it go. I usually just put it in a box and push it under my bed for me to deal with later.

I personally get up earlier to have my alone time with God. It seems to be easier to do that way. Every morning I get up an hour to an hour and half before my wife and daughters get up for the day. I feel its important do have time in the Word before the day begins.
