What do you use an IPad for?

One draw is mobility. I have a relatively big phone, so the ROI of tablets for me is not there yet (outside being a consumption device).

I strongly advise you not to use "greed" as a litmus test. You won't be able to buy stuff from too many corporations... :D

    IOS versus Android versus other

Agree with all your points. I think I said this elsewhere as well, but the true draw of Android is that upgradeability. My wife's Hero is only restricted by the hardware. She is currently running software two generations ahead of the one that came on her device. This greatly increases the...

    Any Android users around here?

I work almost entirely with young people. Texting is something I must do. It does help when I am busy too... I can communicate in short bursts with multiple people. Even the parents of the kids I work with communicate via text (and FB).

Got ya... yep, videos will take up space. I originally was gonna spring for a bigger card (I do our church media, pics, documents, and I need them handy), but I discovered Dropbox and use it for storage.

    IOS versus Android versus other

The sheer selection of Android devices creates a market of different price points; you can get some devices for very cheap, and this lowers the barrier to ownership. Logos for Android is coming soon; in the mean time, you can check out YouVersion (Bible). It's my favorite app. If you're...
