    Is Only God Perfect?

Where does the biblical texts say that?

Is the KJV inaccurate/should it be treated as legitimate?

That is not the issue contested here. If someone wants to use the KJV I see nothing wrong in their doing so and despite the style and convention it is still of serious value. There is nothing wrong with KJV. It's a bit like saying there is something wrong with Canterbury Tales or...

    Sola Scriptura (2)

There are many ways of interpreting texts but unless you approach such interpretation systematically and critically you will end up with simply opinion. And no one can debate opinion.

    Is Only God Perfect?

Creation was 'good' but perhaps not perfect. Perhaps that is our task - to perfect that which is good.

Is the KJV inaccurate/should it be treated as legitimate?

That is a matter of style and convention as anything else. My point is that the KJV is as good as anything else and those who wish to use it should not be given the impression that it is missing something.

    life on another planet

We could say that about the biblical texts - there are any amount of 'missing links'. Just because we don't have everything tied down does not mean we cannot make an informed decision about the matter.

    The earthly lineage of Jesus

    That is my understanding.

Is the KJV inaccurate/should it be treated as legitimate?

I must be missing something - what is missing that needs 'supplementing'?

    The earthly lineage of Jesus

That's OK. I prefaced my remarks by the words, 'My understanding is that ....' I was not making a categorical statement but essential exploring options. As I am not Jewish my 'understanding' still is that a Jew can claim their heritage from the lineage of their mother. I am more than open...

Is the KJV inaccurate/should it be treated as legitimate?

Perhaps - but that is their choice and I see nothing really amiss unless you are suggesting the KJV is a complete misinterpretation of the extant texts. The KJV is no longer my preferred version but that does not mean that I advocate that it get's ditched.

Basic one cell 'creatures' simply divided. There was no 'learning' process. It was chance mutation that makes the link.

    Question about Christianity

I'm not sure of what you are asking. As Jews, Jesus and his disciples accepted the schema - there is but one God - this is the basic tenet of Jewish thought.

    Your opinion on theological debates?

The object of theological debate is not to win - it is to understand.

    Abraham and Isaac

Kids were expendable and generally where - life morbidity was horrific. You know, the need to eat green vegetables is very common these days and children know what to expect when they come to the dinner table, but my 13 year old still complains about it loudly every day!! Hmmm ... I don't...

    is there

It's contained in the Beatitudes but more particularly in the 'but I say unto you' statements by Jesus in Chapter 5 of Matthew.

Hi It can get confusing which is why most of us go to church and have access to a spiritual guide.
