Anyone else finish "SEE"? I MUST discuss it with you! Warning - spoilers!

I tried watching it but didn't make it past the third episode. It's one of the filthiest slows I've ever seen.

2 Thess 2:12 teaches eternal security

No thanks - I'm good - just curious to know what you thought it meant. Thanks for sharing.

2 Thess 2:12 teaches eternal security

Yea - as a believer I'm more concerned about the warning itself though. I mean I would want to get to the root of what "not having eternal life abiding in him..." would exactly mean if its not about losing salvation. Even if its not about losing salvation - it can't be good. What do you think...

2 Thess 2:12 teaches eternal security

One thing is certain - the verse in question is a warning. I am believer and I personally don't want to be told by the Lord (or one of His apostles) that I don't have eternal life abiding in me. No matter how you interpret it - weather it means "perish" - or - I just don't have eternal life...

    Regeneration

Paragraph III from AW's post lists a ton of scriptural proofs for regeneration. Very well articulated, Sir - thank you for sharing that. AW - I'm reading a book by Thomas Shepard - "The Parable of Ten Virgins" which touches on this very issue. It's quite lengthy - dealing mainly with a...

Okay, okay, I've put this argument off for far too long now...

1 Peter 3:21 gives a specific definition of baptism as "an appeal to God for a good conscience..." (ESV) An infant cannot do this as defined by scripture.

    Logical Problems with Calvinism

I'll answer these questions so long as you agree to apply these same standards to the arguments we Calvinists make. False accusation again - I am not balking. Clearly I have answered this question already. It was a singular event that has no bearing on a permanent change of the heart. This...

    Logical Problems with Calvinism

Hamster probably didn't see it since you didn't use the quote function - convenient.... The verse doesn't mention the heart - still waiting on that from you. Apply the same standards to yourself that you do to us please and find a verse that actually says Saul was given a new heart. Thanks...

    Logical Problems with Calvinism

I didn't see anything in the text about a new heart. Can you show me the text that says Saul has a new heart or was ever given one?

    Logical Problems with Calvinism

Romans 3:9-18 is addressing all of mankind's fallen state. Vs 23 drives the point home. In regards to If anyone chooses to join God's people they are first enabled to do so by the Holy Spirit. See Romans 5:2-4.

    Logical Problems with Calvinism

That's fine but you already said they were part of salvation. And you can reference Isaiah all you want but I brought up Romans which you didn't address and can't address or you will have to admit the Calvinist interpretation is the right one.

    Logical Problems with Calvinism

Did you read the quote in my signature line? This is an issue of the desires of the heart - and man has no desire for God - Romans 3. I'm not trying to be cryptic. Just brief.

    Logical Problems with Calvinism

Stop making false accusations - we have provided scripture. But quite frankly I'm still waiting for you to tell me how mercy and compassion are included in and part of salvation yet Romans 9:14-18 is not talking about salvation.
