Unleavened bread, and Acts 20:6, and 1 Cor 5:8

Frogster, I like the way you explained things here, it works for me.

The Passover was for Israel, and the Jewish people, not for gentiles or the church.

Yes, we are Christians. There were some people in my old congregation that did not wan't to be called Christians, that saddened me alot and opened my eyes.

The Passover was for Israel, and the Jewish people, not for gentiles or the church.

That's right. My old congregation would go crazy mad at me when I started to say things like what you just said. At least here we can share, thanks for saying what you just did. I feel liberated in my new life now.

The Passover was for Israel, and the Jewish people, not for gentiles or the church.

That's true ToBeblessed, and the more I came to understand that, and his perspective, it helped me to leave my old congregation. You know alot of people in my old Messianic community kept saying all the time, that to understand the Bible, people have to have a Jewish perspective. Well, we do...

The Passover was for Israel, and the Jewish people, not for gentiles or the church.

Sweetie, the best thing I can suggest to you is to read his posts, they helped me, don't forget I was where you are now, and I know it seems right, but it's not. That's why the forum is a blessing, because you can come here to read other views, and see other Christians mingle and talk about...

The Passover was for Israel, and the Jewish people, not for gentiles or the church.

I'm sorry, but really there is nothing here to prove his posts wrong. This is what used to happen in my old setting, somone would raise good points at our home meeting, where there was freedom to speak out. We called it "open Wednesday" where we could all sort of bring our problems or...

The Passover was for Israel, and the Jewish people, not for gentiles or the church.

JellyBellyNellie, let me first say that I LOVE your name, it's cute! I did notice that you seemed to ask frogster several times the same question. But the fault lies elsewhere not with frogster, but with the pople who say we need keep the feasts, and some say it's sin not to keep them, believe...

The Passover was for Israel, and the Jewish people, not for gentiles or the church.

Frogster has used the Bible plenty here, and he has shown how it was not for the gentiles. I don't see you proving his Bible verses to be wrong. I used to hear this same thing you're saying, in my old congregation but after a while it sort of fizzled out because there was no truth in it. Can you...

The Passover was for Israel, and the Jewish people, not for gentiles or the church.

I like frogster also and the point he brought out is what I saw in the congregation that I left. Both there and here on this thread, or anywhere for that matter, the people who keep the Passover can never use the Bible to prove why they do, or why they think others should, they just use opinion...

The Passover was for Israel, and the Jewish people, not for gentiles or the church.

Sweetie, I was in a congregation that taught what frogster is arguing against, and believe me he is right. They were always talking about the Old Testament festivals as though that was all there was, along with other Old Testament things, and my eyes were opened to that, and I left that church...

The Passover was for Israel, and the Jewish people, not for gentiles or the church.

Hi, please keep on sharing, as I am goping to be fowarding any information to others that are dear to the Lord and me, but are still in these congregations. Any information you have can be useful to help those who as you say, profane the New Covenant. Thanks, your sister in the Lord, Seeking Him.

The Passover was for Israel, and the Jewish people, not for gentiles or the church.

Hi frogster, we spoke some time ago, and as you may remember I was stuck in a messianic congregation, and what you say here is true, I can testify firsthand. It seemed as though all that mattered were the feasts, not our Lord in my former congregation. Please keep sharing and I'll be following...

    Repent or Not

Praise the Lord Jesus, we were let out of Hell for free.

If a minister does some good, do we???

Lying signs and wonders can deceive the elect, as materialism can also, so that is not good fruit. Greed is not good fruit, nor is idolatry. So numbers, or doing good deeds, or miracles does not always mean good fruit.

If a minister does some good, do we???

To answer the OP, no, we should not ignore a ministry that has a major flaw.

    Signs and wonders

I remember a great article by Derek Prince from the 70's. He was talking about that scripture: "No man having drunk old wine, right away desires the new, for he says the old is better." Prince was saying old legalism impresses the old nature. It takes time for people entrenched in these things...
