    imagination

I have a freakish imagination. I've been writing since I was around 16 or 17 and can create entire worlds and characters with unique personality quirks. I don't really know how I do it but recently I've been becoming more and more convinced that it has a purpose beyond what I use it for...

    Mission Fields, anybody?

Before and during my freshman year of highschool I did missionary work in Taiwan and attended a Christian Academy. I think I actually learned more than I could have ever taught...especially about my relationship with God. It was probably the most conflicted time in my life. I was happy...

    Atheism: Your Views

Come on...you've got to have a sense of humor somewhere in there! Edit: Also, my living avatar has the same problem with shoes as I do in real life. Stupid square feet.

    I Just Don't Get Him: A Man's Mind

Any advice I give is completely useless...since love is the only area of my life where I'm completely clueless. This is a great thread, though. I will say that guys change with age. Not much...but we do shift in our opinions and attitudes. A 20 year old will be very energetic and in a hurry...

    Atheism: Your Views

I expect the same from atheists as they expect from me. Keep quiet and out of my business. I can not help it if they refuse to remove their blindfolds and see. Statistically speaking I'll live longer than them anyway!

Have you ever had a spiritual moment between you and Christ?

With as often as my butt gets pulled out of the fire...I KNOW Jesus is keeping me safe. I've heard and felt God since I was very young. I was never raised as a Christian or taught about God...I just knew. I feel afraid a LOT...but all I have to do is ask and the fear goes away (or at least...

    Born Before The 90's

I love 80's music. I admit to being into 90's music a LOT. The 90's were my teenage and highschool years. The 80's were the years that built my foundation. I can only hope I am able to pass on the experiences I have to my children.

    Born Before The 90's

Could be worse I guess! I really enjoyed how I grew up. I was able to experience some really wonderful history. I also knew my grandfather, a member of the greatest generation who also happened to be a WWII hero (he was a medic and was proud that through ALL of the European campaign he did...

Do you care about your potential spouse's genetics?

I never thought about this. I definitely want to marry and have kids with someone who doesn't have a genetic abnormality that will be passed onto our kids. I carry the potential for alcoholism (dad and sister are/were alcoholics) even though I do not drink. I have awesome teeth, though...

Greetings to everyone...here because of doubt...

Thank you all for the warm welcome. It's very nice to know I'm not alone. I could survive with my beliefs intact alone if I had to...but I do take a great amount of comfort in knowing others like myself.

Greetings to everyone...here because of doubt...

I'm going to try to not make this an incredibly long message. I have never been "raised" as a Christian. I remember the day when I first started to believe, though. I was 10 years old and sitting on the front porch of my grandparents' house. It was late spring/early summer and everything was...
