I hope Cymbalta works good for you. Keep in mind it takes a while for meds to really kick in-- about a month. And during the time it gives some ups and downs that are really challenging.

A very small percentage, I'd guess. Anyway, I've read it's the #1 suicide location in the world. Whether or not it increases the overall suicide number, who knows. It is very accessible and deadly, compared to, say, the right kinds of pills to actually kill oneself.

Sounds like you're awful rough on yourself, which I guess is a symptom of OCD. Likewise, you have no real evidence that God is disapproving of you, yet you make the se assumptions of the worst out of paranoia and fear. It's likely that some medication would help with the OCD and anxiety...

Well it's not going to do that for everyone, but I will say that on my 2nd week of Effexor I thought more seriously about suicide than at any other point in my life. Then later on it made me feel better.
