As far as the cyberpunk genre goes, a classic that you will have to read is Neuromancer by William Gibson. If you want more manga in this style then Appleseed might be a good one. There is also a 3d animation Appleseed movie in adition to the manga.

I used to read it long long ago. Stopped reading around the time they printed the first volume. But it was quite entertaining. "L33t Sp34k" is fun :D

I like this series! At times it is a bit too slow paced for me and I DO have issues with sexual content (it is a bit much and the series really does not need it imho). This is also the reason I can't really recommend it to many people. But I do like the plot. As far as vampire series go...
