    Is the rapture Biblical?

I'd recommend that you re look at what the gospel is and the establishment of the Kingdom of God on Earth. This alone debunks the errant teachings of rapture to heaven.

    This Sucks

The passages that you are talking about are found in Matt 24. Its just that those passages have nothing to do with Christ's return, they were a prophecy about the forthcoming destruction of Jerusalem and the scattering of the Jews.

    Is the rapture Biblical?

What verbose rubbish, honestly. I really cannot be bothered going through everything as I frankly don't have that much time to waste so I shall point out one thing only. Matt 24:15 - Who destroyed the temple of Solomon? The Romans aka the pagan Roman Empire. Has there been any sacrifices...

Is the AK-47 a better rifle than the M-4 and M-16?

There is a lot of going around in circles here but the basic premise of what your checklist is for a 'better' rifle hasn't been answered. The assault rifle was born out of studies in WW2 that found most engagements happened at ranges up to 300m. To aid efficiencies in production and tooling...

    The Deity of Christ

I'd love to debate this but that would merely end up in my post being removed and me being sent a nasty-gram by a moderator. Suffice to say that I am not a trinitarian as it is not biblical and if Christ was divine then he could not have fulfilled the requirements to conquer sin.

    Is the rapture Biblical?

To the OP, I'm glad someone asked the question of the elephant in the room. No it is not. Teachings of a rapture etc came about int eh 1800 as a result of the publication of a couple of texts from Jesuits. This is where we get the split into a futurist or historical view of prophecy and the...

    This Sucks

Dude, Matt 24 doesn't refer to end times but to the sacking of Jerusalem. The exposing of people who are clearly not teaching from scripture serves as a blessing to the faithful as it gives an opportunity to educate those who now know that they were duped.

    What do you think?

Bollocks, I said I didn't know who they were when asked. That is not even remotely close to what you are claiming. Go back and read again, several times if you have to.

Then you will know the truth of which I speak. I have lived in every state and territory in this wide brown land. I've seen quite a lot of contrasts and things that were perceived as 'just a stereotype' happen before my eyes. Those who work in the medical field have even more harrowing...

    What do you think?

I would say the experience tempers idealism. You will find very, very few people who identify with the 'hearts and flowers' brigade (that inhabits the idealistic elements that dwell in Melbourne, Sydney and Canberra) in those areas where there is a greater number of aboriginals such as Darwin...

    What do you think?

I have trouble remembering any significant flag changes over the last century. It is entirely impractical to 'update' a flag based on the current cultural melting pot that it may be. The majority of Australians are of Anglo-Saxon descent, having family that came here from the British Isles...

    What do you think?

Likewise, you read what you want to and draw conclusions through your flawed reading of the material presented to you. The facts are that anthropologists have found evidence of people that inhabited Australia before the Aborigines and that they are a different ethnic origin. Who they were, I...

Is Kyle Sandilands really to blame?

There's an old addage that you never ask a question unless you know the answer or you want to hear the answer. In this case they certainly didn't know tha answer and if the did want to know the answer, they hadn't thought through the possible responses.

    Questions for Trinitarians

You are assuming that he is praying when he is requesting a blessing. Anyone can give their blessing for something, it is a matter of what that blessing is worth.

    What do you think?

History is not constrained or defined by the rule of 'international law', only that of politics and conquest. Britain was conquered by the Angles, Saxons, the Normans and invaded by the vikings. Native Britons are extinct as a distinct people. The Russian Empire was created through conquest...

    What do you think?

Rubbish. The group of people who are referred to as Aborigines in Australia came here from abroad. Its jsut that no-one else came here & decided to stick around for a long time after that.

    What do you think?

Not at all, it is relevant, distinctive and a flag to be proud of. The sum of your arguments against it seems to be that it has a Union Jack in the corner. Too bad sunshine, we are part of the Commonwealth and it was through English settlement that Australia is as it is now.

    What do you think?

There most certainly is. You need to do a bit of reading to inform yourself of history.

    What do you think?

Who knows. The Aborigines conquered them thousands of years ago.

    Questions for Trinitarians

You may wish to read that again, Jacob is not praying to any angel there. How was your response relevant to the post you quoted?
