I want sex constantly and question about CSA

Hi Lauren, you are so brave and self aware! You are right your anger and rage are completely normal I actually believe that Jesus can bring total recovery and healing and I believe you will be able to read the bible and go to church, in time, at the right time for you. (Have you tried a...

    Single??

I really take my hat off to those ladies who posted early on in this thread who have been left/have always been single and bringing up a child/children. I am really blessed reading how many of you have also said you would like to meet someone but are content. I too am content and am happy...

[Open Dr Who fan members] calling Dr Who fans (4)

Haha my brother is a big fan of D W but I don't count as one because I stopped watching after the last doctor came. But I LOVED the first episode with him (Amy Pond as a young girl etc.) and couldn't work out why I didn't like it any more. Then I saw a Christmas special without Amy and realised...

    Do you like your job?

Am impressed with people doing cool things like working from home and consulting on the side or teaching! I am an advisor for adult social services and have been there for five years by far my longest time in a job.... And I am ready to leave but haven't been able there are so many candidates...

    Loneliness

Oooh above post - that is very similar to me, but I am at the age where I think lots of people have given up on me meeting someone now. But God has done a lot of healing to bring me to a place of wanting to meet someone and it couldn't have been earlier. So now I feel maybe ready but also aware...

    What made you happy today?

I like that white dove - reflecting on Gods promises is a very good way :) for me I felt rubbish and a bit apathetic and fed up at work today and then I just took a fleeting moment to remind myself that I can push through in God and live in freedom from feelings and the past - and I felt happier...

    Uhm...interesting story...in my opinion...fwiw

Hmmmm Interesting. Bit rubbish that one moment of doubt led to all being lost - what if the star had just bounced and slightly cracked instead ;) But I like the point about not making others responsible for your happiness and it coming from within, that is so true. Also the image of all those...

    traumatic memories

I know EXACTLY what you mean. It's like it never completely goes away - but I have faith that it will and for you too. I've noticed that even if something causes some emotion that seems to link with the path - God uses it and I feel better and a bit more healed afterwards. Trusting for wholeness...
