Can we see, touch, taste, smell or hear God? I would say no because God is Spirit.

I live in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago...born in the city proper, moved to Oak Park, high school years in Arlington Heights. Have since lived in, Buffalo Grove, Palatine, Glendale Heights, Algonquin and now currently in Huntley.

This is most like my opinion. It should be called something other than marriage, civil union or something. I also don't think the church should recognize same sex unions as a "marriage".

As a Christian I understand that marriage is a vow made before God between a man and a woman. However, in "the world", do we have the right to dictate that same sex partners cannot also make a vow of commitment to each other?
