    Ask a Gnostic

Thanks for the answer! And yes, I agree that focusing too much on reincarnation is really missing the point of it all ;). I just wondered if it was part of the main theology of gnosticism, I only heard that *some* gnostics believed in it. As far as paying too much attention to the end; I think...

The Truth about Paratheo-Anametamystikhood Of Eris Esoteric

I agree with this 100%. Not only for order, but the "grids" that you've mentioned before. Like if you look at the world expecting to see violence, that's all you'll see; or if you look for kindness and beauty, the world looks lovely. The world is what you expect it to be. That's not exactly...

    My theory on the geologies

Wow. I've read through seven pages trying to decide if this is for real or not... I'm still not sure.

    Time to try something else

I'm confused by the catholic references... is Gluadys a catholic? I'm not... although they seem to be a smart group given they support the evolutionary theory.

    Time to try something else

FYI, I do read the Bible. I happen to enjoy reading it very much. How you can just assume that we TE's do not read our Bibles is a bit arrogant. Have you ever debated with Gluadys? She seems to be extremely familiar with hers.

    Two questions for non-creationists:

It's obvious that you're trying to assert that Christians must be creationists by default, and in the purest sense of the word, you're right. However, we have to make a distinction because "Creationist" in this day is synonymous with "YEC" or "OEC".

Would you say creationism was easy or hard to believe?

Interesting, thanks for responding. Really? What materials? Where did they come from? Do you mean materials that God created?

    Two questions for non-creationists:

    1. A very weird person 2. God And yes, I know you're going to say that makes me a creationist. I suppose in that sense I am -- I'm an evolutionary creationist? ;) (and as to the remark about Avatar, I didn't think you were the judgemental type AV. I'm dissappointed)

What is the official Mormon position on evolution? I know Catholics are cool with it -- is the LDS church?

A question for all Christian evolutionists

I came to this thread late.... but I'll chime in (although I don't think my answer is going to satisfy the op). I am a Christian. I accept the theory of evolution. Your question was why would I not believe in evolution apart from God. My personal answer is simple. I can't believe in...

    25,000 Year Gap

And I have a question. Are you saying that man existed 30,000 years ago? Or that man must not have existed that long ago and that the dating on the bird must be inaccurate?

    25,000 Year Gap

The ability to create art, and to replicate something you've seen on some sort of artistic medium is quite different from developing a system of language -- don't you think?

    The Flood

I was just visiting family :). This thread has DOUBLED -- CRAZY!! Personally, I'd like to address ship cloaking technology. Wouldn't any civilzation advanced enough to *have* interstellar travel also theorietically be advanced enough for cloaking tech?
