The Bible's Most Misunderstood Verse...Please READ IT...it takes all of two minutes.

All of the spin on this simple verse is just like the grass that withereth and the flower that fadeth... 8The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever. Isaiah 40:8

Who applied the Church to Israel..chapter & verse please. Part 3.

In order for 1 Thes 4:17 to be true (ever being with the Lord after the Rapture).

Who applied the Church to Israel..chapter & verse please. Part 3.

If the Church is raptured to heaven, then shouldn't we expect the Church to be seen with Christ in the book of Revelation? You do see Christ in the book of Revelation, don't you? 17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in...

    The Church in Mid-Acts Dispensationalism

I see the Great Commission as successful and still in effect, it was fulfilled by those Jews who believed before the stoning of Steven, and those same Jews (including Paul) would spread the gospel throughout the world, which continues today.

    The Church in Mid-Acts Dispensationalism

I don't see your point...for it does not say "until the fulness of the Church be come in", but "until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in". Even after the fulness of the Gentiles, any remnant of Jews would be added to the same Church, of which they were the "charter members".

    The Church in Mid-Acts Dispensationalism

How does this invalidate the seventy weeks being fulfilled? Can't those Jews that are partially blinded come in through the Church, after the fulness of the Gentiles?

    The Church in Mid-Acts Dispensationalism

It wasn't necesarily the tribulation that began in Acts 2, but it was the 70th week of Daniel's prophecy that was "in progress". Dispy is basing this on Acts 2:16-17 which speaks of the "last days" and extending this period to the stoning of Steven, or the time the gospel went out to the...

    The Church in Mid-Acts Dispensationalism

Wasn't the stoning of Stephen about 3 1/2 years after the Crucifixion? And the baptism of Jesus 3 1/2 years before? Couldn't this be the "week" in which Daniel 9:27 refers, in which the covenant was confirmed with many for "one week"?

    Daniel's 70th Week Future or Fulfilled? Pt1

How do you get around this verse? 34Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. Matthew 24:34

Who applied the Church to Israel..chapter & verse please. Part 3.

But you don't consider these historical churches part of the Body of Christ? If not, why not? Also, in your opinion, is the Body of Christ seen in heaven at any time during the book of Revelation?

Who applied the Church to Israel..chapter & verse please. Part 3.

Thanks for the sincere response. Well, we can agree they were historical churches, as shown on the map below. So, we should at least also agree that that part of Revelation is in the past (while also speaking to us today): See a balanced commentary at...

Who applied the Church to Israel..chapter & verse please. Part 3.

They have both stated that the Church is not in Revelation at all, not even the 7 churches in Revelation 2-3.....I was just trying to see if this is an "official" Mid-Acts belief, or if it's just a "freelance" one of the posters here. I did check the "Berean Bible Society" web site (Mid-Acts)...

Who applied the Church to Israel..chapter & verse please. Part 3.

I'm just trying to find out if these are the beliefs of Mid-Acts dispensationalism, or is this just "freelance" coming from you. Not meaning to be offensive, but so far you have made some pretty incredible statements, and it's hard to believe any educated Christian can make them. Can you...

Who applied the Church to Israel..chapter & verse please. Part 3.

If the "mystery church" is not in Revelation at all, then who are these groups? Who are the 7 churches? Who are the 24 elders? Who is the great multitude? Who are the 144,000?

Who applied the Church to Israel..chapter & verse please. Part 3.

So, you don't consider yourselves part of this "great multitude"? You don't plan on singing the "Hallelujah Chorus"? After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb...

Who applied the Church to Israel..chapter & verse please. Part 3.

I didn't get any answers, just that Revelation is not for us, or something to that effect. Who are the 7 churches in Revelation? Who are the 24 elders? Who is the great multitude? Are you saying that the "mystery church" is not mentioned at all in Revelation?
