    Tell me: Who is Jesus?

Drich, how much more obvious do I have to make it? Your "detail" does not matter to me. I couldn't possibly be further from acknowledging you as an authority on this subject. How could you not get that? Very, very simply put: I don't think you know what you are talking about. Not saying...

    Tell me: Who is Jesus?

Yea', I know it's about "this guy" and not about "That Guy." Trust me. (Hint: "That Guy" meaning God) Don't attribute YOUR lack of understanding (which you suffer SEVERELY from), and me calling you out on it over and over and over again, to foolishness. Calling a MOTHER a "woman"...

    Tell me: Who is Jesus?

Here's a new question: Why can't I stop responding to this guy? Anyone? You don't have to be Greek to answer. Is it me, or it not embarrassingly obvious that God was referring to a WOMAN, as in a LADY. Are you implying that God meant "mother" in this verse? As in, "born of a mother?"...

"Married it..." WOW!!!! ^_^ I don't whether to love you or not, D. Seriously. You're a gem.

    Tell me: Who is Jesus?

St. Justin Martyr's Corner: Debate an Orthodox Christian - Christian Forums All I want to know is one thing. And you all know what that is. Thank you, Raz. I'll be extra careful with my words. But even in saying that, the only time I get riled up is when I deal with such incredibly ridiculous...

    Tell me: Who is Jesus?

This is what I mean: A woman screaming out in the a crowd that Mary is Jesus' mother does not mean that Jesus thought the same thing: that Mary was Jesus' mother. I provided that verse to show you that what God thinks, is not what not what man thinks, nor what that woman thought.

    Tell me: Who is Jesus?

"A woman called." Remember: Isaiah 55:8 "For my thoughts are not your thoughts"

    Tell me: Who is Jesus?

The word "mother." Did you copy and past this EXACTLY as is: Outline of Biblical Usage 1) a woman of any age, whether a virgin, mother, or married, or a widow 2) a wife a) of a betrothed woman Yes or no? Or did you ADD the word "mother" in between "whether a virgin" and "or married?"

    Tell me: Who is Jesus?

"You compiled?" Come ON! YOU added the word in there, and then use the word "compiled" to try and make it seem as if you didn't totally try to pass that word off as being PART of the BLB definition. Please! Anyway, as long as that's out in the open. Is there a Greek in the house? Someone...

    Tell me: Who is Jesus?

That is EXACTLY what he did. HE added that word in there. Why provide a definition from an online source that one would have to assume he implies as being credible (or else WHY USE IT?) and then add his OWN word in there?

    Tell me: Who is Jesus?

How did the word "mother" end up in the definition above?

    Tell me: Who is Jesus?

The guy needs to be called out for adding that word to the definition. Even ViaCrucis, which I'm staring to believe may be Greek, says it doesn't mean "mother." I mean how far will he go to prove a point? This is why I didn't even care to respond to his last post - it's beyond obvious...

    Tell me: Who is Jesus?

ViaCrucis, 1.) Ulyses was speaking to Melantho, who was a daughter to Dolius, and was one of Odysseus's female servants, not his mother. 2.) You guys completely misunderstand what I say, so I will elaborate further once Drich responds, 'cause this thing below really needs to be addressed...

    Tell me: Who is Jesus?

Raz, before heading over to the Orthodox section (thanks for the rec'), I'd like Drich to address what I mentioned below. 1.) You didn't provide a passage in the bible. 2.) For the love of all which is Holy and Good, please tell me you didn't ADD "mother" in that definition yourself. This is...

    Tell me: Who is Jesus?

1.) You didn't provide a passage in the bible. 2.) For the love of all which is Holy and Good, please tell me you didn't ADD "mother" in that definition yourself. This is what I get:1) a woman of any age, whether a virgin, or married, or a widow 2) a wife a) of a betrothed woman Link me...

    Tell me: Who is Jesus?

ViaCrucis, the crux of the matter is not disrespect towards woman, but rather if Jesus did actually consider Mary His mother, that only then would I, personally, think it would seem disrespectful. But I don't believe He did consider her His mother, and thus why He called her, "woman." That's my...

    Tell me: Who is Jesus?

Nice edit, but here is your post: Praying TO Mary is not okay. That is what I say the bible condemns, and that, apparently, is what you say is okay to do. So be it. And that above quote wasn't for you, but rather Drich.

    Tell me: Who is Jesus?

Why beat each other over the head when we clearly don't see eye to eye? You're going to continue believing Jesus knew, and I won't. So let's just leave it at that.

    Tell me: Who is Jesus?

Me: Focus (thinking, praying, worshiping, not spare TIME) should only be directed towards God ONLY, not Mary, which the Catholics seem to do. You: Well, you're spending time on the internet, so then you're not "focusing" on God. Me: That's not what I meant. You: You're being illogical Me...
