    How Would You React?

For the most part none of this is any of our business at all. About the first one, I would be disappointed with the gossip who told me.

    Diversity Ravages

Diversity isn't exactly good or bad, it just is. What are you going to do? Force people to all be the same?

    Tom Hanks Quotes

I like "There's many different things you can do with shrimp" in Forest Gump but I think Bubba says it.

    What state are you from?

Texas, born and raised here. I was at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, long time ago when in the Army, and Fort Belvoir, Virginia.

    Texas Roll Call

Check with the Chamber of Commerce, or see the local newspaper on a Saturday. That's when they have church ads.

    67% - Non-Churchgoers Vote Democratic

I agree. There's nothing wrong with voting according to religious principles. What's wrong is creating public policies endorsing particular religions and so on.

How 'Spirit-filled' are the services at your church?

It definitely makes a difference in attracting young people. Some claim the main line churches are losing members because of politics but I don't believe that's true. Because of our worship style, absolutely.

How 'Spirit-filled' are the services at your church?

I'm sorry there's a struggle. I like more traditional services but as long as you aren't making up your doctrine I don't see why the two service system is not good enough. I don't believe in "speaking in tongues," but, to each their own.

    300

I thought it was good. A little bloody, but realistic.

    Time Machine?

Since it's just fantasy I don't mind saying. I'd go to rural Texas in the 1800s and meet my ancestors just to see what they were like. Also perhaps to Israel during the time of Jesus to try to blend into the crowd at the sermon on the mount. Not speaking aramaic could be a problem though.

How 'Spirit-filled' are the services at your church?

We're kind of subdued. We have praise songs and that's about it. Some people raise their hands but it's nothing like a Pentecoastal thing.

Has anyone served the democratic party more than Bush?

Probably not at least not recently. After voting for him twice I'm probably going to vote Democrat in 2008 like I did in 2006.
