Oh my goodness, I LOVED the birthing ball during labor! Our hospital has a "double" one that looks like a big peanut, it was AMAZING!

She is doing great with the bottles! She still nurses some too, but needs some extra after each feeding. I'm really trying to wean myself off of the narcotics because I'm sure that attributes to her sleepiness when at the breast. And lanolin is a lifesaver!!!

It hurt really bad while he was doing it, and I felt sore for about a half hour. Otherwise, the only discomfort was the contractions. But, I probably would have been able to be around other people that evening, provided it doesn't send you into full on labor! LOL.

I agree with Mina. There are enough places that cater to families and children and I can expect that my meal might be disturbed if I eat at one of those places, but if I want a nice quiet night with DH or with some friends, I'd like to be able to choose a place where kids won't be running around...
