Seeing a counselor doesn't mean something mentally is wrong. Personally, I wouldn't take it personal if someone said I should talk to a counselor. He/she can be great at helping someone work things out (e.g., deep issues).

Advantages? I do think there are some great advantages but when it comes down to it, the disadvantages seem to weigh out the advantages. I've stopped making lists why being single is good.
