What sort of Catholic are you?

Is there some reason I am being singled out here? Was my standard deviation percent wrong? Are you a stats teacher?

What sort of Catholic are you?

Assuming this is a normal curve, being within 2 standard deviations makes you a 95.4% Moderate Traditional. Or something like that. Ha. I should really brush up on the subject before I have to take Psych Stats at the graduate level.

What sort of Catholic are you?

*brushes some dust of her profile* By the definitions provided, the best fit for me was Moderate Traditional. With maybe a less then 10% margin of error. I'm not the best with statistics :P

    "Thank You God" Prayer

For all You have given, Thank You God. For all You have withheld, Thank You God. For all You have withdrawn, Thank You God. For all You have permitted, Thank You God. For all You have prevented, Thank You God. For all You have forgiven me, Thank You God. For all You have prepared for...

    Outside "Catholic"

I was able to rent it from my local Blockbuster and I know they have it available on Blockbuster Online as well. Loved it and will recommend it on the grounds that it has "Catholic" elements that a Catholic will appreciate, but not necessarily expect to be lock-step with our beliefs. And...

Why do Contraception Commercials Treat Women like Idiots?

That's my MAJOR issue with so many of the birth control ads today.:sigh: While I whine about my PMS and suffer hormone induced migraines, I'm still thankful to know that everything is operating as it should. Many serious diseases and are diagnosed by cessation of menses. Who are these people...

    New Catechist Needs Your Prayers

Tonight is my first night leading the 4th grade catechism class at my home parish. Obviously I'm a wee bit nervous, but very excited as well. It shouldn't be too difficult tonight, just introductions, a school wide prayer service, and then some getting-to-know-you games. Any prayers, ideas, or...

    Catholic Single: any ladies?

Too true! Or if not, I know some conservative guys who love the spoiled ice-queen routine too; rarely anywhere in between. However, I very much the type who loves preparing dinner and doing little favors for my boyfriend. But he treats me like a princess and by his words and actions, I know he...

    17 counting

All those family shows on TLC, especially John & Kate Plus 8 just suck me right in. I have enough problems managing my own time, let alone a litter of tots! :D It's like watching a juggling act.

Why do Contraception Commercials Treat Women like Idiots?

AMEN! I would also be in favor of banning them from print/radio, like cigarettes. I have a major distrust of the industry anyways and those men's 'enhancement' ads always creep me out - especially when they talk about the side effects.

My belief on the current state of the economy.

I don't profess to be an economic expert, but I've observed the same thing here in Milwaukee real estate market. There are dozens of luxury high rise condos that were built in the last 5 years that rarely have units less than 500k and hover around the 2mil mark. Everyone in the city saw it...

Whats your favorite Prayer or Hymn?

Ditto. I'm working on memorizing it by heart. As for Hymns, I've always enjoyed "Hosea (Come Back To Me)" by Norbet and "Shepherd Me, O God" by Haugen.
