    "date night" in lockdown

To be honest, my husband and I are homebodies. I broke my leg Jan of last year and we spent months unable to do much of anything. Being 'housebound' isn't that hard for us after that ordeal honestly.

Mixed Family , Wife's Ex, and My Role

1-She is in the wrong 2- strong boundaries are necessary between exe's. 3-She should care more about how this makes YOU feel then her 'friendship' with her 'ex' 4-She's sill emotionally enmeshed with her previous husband and life 5- NO kids do NOT need their parents to play 'happy family' in...

Pastor who criticized coronavirus ‘mass hysteria’ dies from illness

I want to feel bad for his family, but after I read their blind views on still blaming 'left media' I just don't feel anything for them anymore.

Yep. Of course over 15 years ago I divorced the jerk, I broke up w/a fiance as well over it....I have to say my current husband/relationship is entirely different. We may have other struggles but these things have never been an issue.

I have to agree- there are times it's welcome and times it is not....especially if you are rushed, trying to do something, and they are told to stop and get offended or ignore it. This is spot on. It's simply about respecting eachother's time/space/person.

our news reported today 1 in 5 women

Are you taking into consideration the massive number of non-reported offenses? I'm sure there are women I know that haven't been-probably why we haven't discussed-but I'm talking about women I'm more open withor friends with....and it's a long damn list. As for family- I am talking just...

No, I do not. Trying to kiss someone and then respecting their decision to leave is not assault.

    Was Christine Blasey Ford credible?

"We are sexual assault victims, character assassination victims" I'm confident in saying that one of these is entirely and statistically more of a problem then the other....by leaps and bounds. I'd rather focus on fixing THAT problem first and foremost. It IS the most pressing.

I"m just going to say this- of all my childhood friends AND family members (including some males in friends) and adult female friends, not ONE of them has been untouched by sexual assault in some way (exposure, assault, rape, harassment, attempted rape or rape or domestic violence/marital...

Blasey Lied During Hearing, According to Ex-Boyfriend

Oh I see, you say this because IF the FBI investigation comes up with something worthy of not voting him, you will all then say it's a vast conspiracy from the FBI to begin with. LOL The measures to which you will go to deny the possibility this is true vs this vast conspiracy theory you...

The #MeToo Movement Is Destroying Trust Between Men And Women

What on earth is your obsession w/Clinton ?? And why do Republicans always throw Clinton back in as if it somehow negates the NOW? I don't defend Clinton either....if allegations are proven he deserve what every other abuser deserves. It's comical 'but CLINTON'- and btw, I typically vote...

The #MeToo Movement Is Destroying Trust Between Men And Women

Thank you! You and I and others know why too. It's ALMOST amusing to see them scramble to keep the norm and status quo they have enjoyed for centuries. Here's a good read: The epidemic of denial about sexual abuse in the evangelical church.

    Kavanaugh: All American Guy?

I think plenty of politicians care about it, regardless of side-though mostly seems to be on the Democrats side.....but Flake and Collins are also placing the needs of women to be heard before party-and I applaud that. As you know, Flake was crucified for it. This tells me some do care, truly.

The #MeToo Movement Is Destroying Trust Between Men And Women

And as long as the church and it's members/and men refuse to look at themselves and how the patriarchy and hiding of sexual abuse has contributed to the problem, it will never be resolved.

Kavanaugh's Yale friends said he lied under oath

The epidemic of denial about sexual abuse in the evangelical church. Can't wait for the dismissal of the article-but look at the sources, And by the way, I've seen the same things described in this article in churches all over the world. I was a ministers daughter-I heard conversations. It...

Kavanaugh's Yale friends said he lied under oath

Maybe she didn't care to prosecute him because what he did was wrong-but perhaps no longer punishable. He's NOT on trial, this is simply a 'stain' on him that should be greatly considered if he's a nominee. Most women aren't believed, likely since it was not actual rape he would have gotten off...

Did Kavanaugh's tone help or harm him?

Not everyone responding in anger is coming from a place of 'falsely accused' and 'defending their honor'. Plenty of people with entitled personalities take it as confrontation or 'calling them on it' and get offended and angry. He reminded me of Trump who acts the same way if he's ever called...
