I'm not offended. I disagree with your theology, but all that will work itself out either before we die or after, no doubt. I know Jews who would disagree with your perspective. So, the "we are Jews" thing doesn't mean too much. So many people disagree even within a cultural/ religious...

Tal - It is not a different sort of building that we "call" a Synagogue. It is a genuine synagogue... with all the regulations required fulfilled. You can go to our website and see for your self.

We have our own synagogue. Complete with Judaica shop. And library. We have well over a minyan of Jews. It's a beautiful, real live Messianic Jewish Synagogue... with letter of congrats from the city's mayor. We have an education wing... we have classes full on Sundays teaching Hebrew to all...

Liturgical prayer connects me and all those participating, to G-d , as a unified entity... a living organisim... all of us agreeing... all speaking scripture - the very words of haShem... it's amazing... something wonderful happens.... it is powerful & humbling! I'm sorry some have not...

Unfortunately, the perspective of Christianmomof3 and S-T and others make the role of the Messianic Jews very difficult. When the Christian is standing on one side and the Jew is standing on the other... both so convinced their Religion is the right one... both rejecting the definition and...

Right now, should everyone? Um, probably not. When Messiah comes, yes, definitely. (I believe it's a requirement, is it not?) :D ... those ladies should have kept quite and encouraged their men!

Great explanation! I didn't really have a good idea of liturgy until I became Messianic. Now... I couldn't go back to a non-liturgical form... it's just too awesome!
