Haven't read all the responses but FB has a handy, dandy report this photo button that I suggest you use. They have strict policies against nudity in photos and I'm certain that the photo in question would violate that policy. My advice? Report it. Completely inappropriate.

I'm posting this in WD and in parenting. Thanks to all of you so far who have helped me out. I don't know a lot of parents locally so you guys are a gigantic help, no doubt. Question: Should sitting, crawling, and walking be deliberately encouraged in infants and toddlers? Why or why not?

Just for the record, I'm not oppressed in my marriage...and neither is my child. Not all marriages (in fact, the vast majority) are not that way. Married moms have to work, too. Why not just have daycare available for parents, period...rather than just limiting it to assistance for single moms...

Thank him. :) We had this issue for my b-day. It was something that I never in a million years would have expected. I was highly disappointed, even angry. And I told him so. :sigh: NOw, I feel terrible. My advice? Hold you tongue and be glad he thought of you. :)

What advice would you give an expecting father?

Justin doesn't feel humiliated in time out, but it makes him ten times angrier than he originally was...and he doesn't get it. It helps him to calm down but we go through a LOT to get there. I think the all forms of discipline are punishment is more accurate for older than toddler age kids, kwim?
