If it happened once, it can happen again. Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it. Here is list of banned books. Many of them are fairly recent bannings: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Banned_books

Tennessee, Churchgoers disagree on clapping in worship.

I think it’s this bickering about such petty things is what makes Christians look bad to outsiders.

Why only Christians in a worship team?

I usually don’t browse this section, but the title was posted on the main page and caught my eye. I think it’s wonderful that the members of that church was able to reach out and let that man join their worship team. If only more churches were more open, I think they would see their numbers...

Controversial skywalk in place over Grand Canyon

While I can see concerns if developers and speculators are land grapping around the Grand Canyon, I do feel that if this attraction is on the Indian’s land, then they should be able to build it. Personally I would love to try it.

    Do's and Don't of Witnessing.

Yeah, but people who are frightened are so much easier to control than people who feel loved. Which I think is why some churches preach fear and hate instead of love and forgiveness.

    Do's and Don't of Witnessing.

I’ve also known people who once you have taken the time to get to know, love and care for them and LISTEN to them before you start preaching to them has worked a lot better than handing out tracks. But I guess you don’t care about the rocks and the thorns, if you can not even refer to them...

    Do's and Don't of Witnessing.

I never said that repentance is not important, just that you can not change someone’s belief and way of life in the space of one conversation.

    Do's and Don't of Witnessing.

I think it’s more prideful to expect everyone to change their life long beliefs just because you talk to them. Just because they don’t stop right then and there and change doesn’t mean you haven’t planted the seed. What sort of farmer expects their vegetables to grow to maturity in minutes?

Southern Baptist Convention warns Christians about teachings of Mormonism.

If I had to choice between a Southern Baptist or a Mormon for president, (with all other qualifications being equal) then I’d most likely choice the Mormon. After being raised by southern Baptist in a southern Baptist community, I just do not trust one further than I can throw one.
