yeah, as dreamchild said, your counsellor cannot tell anyone what you tell them. i hope you are able to open up about this because it will be huge help to you, not keeping it secret anymore and finding better ways of coping.

I hope you can find a good counsellor. It will help you heaps. The thoughts in your head are lies from the enemy, try to remind yourself of the truth and the word of God. Remember, you're not alone anymore. We're all here for you & so is God.

i let her know that the techniques did work, she as good about it and just kept working on different ways to help. I didn't ask about the EMDR, i forgot and didn't really want to. guess I need to trust her more.

Thanks lily00 I have counselling tomorrow. I feel like really trying to express how bad those techniques were. but at the same time, I think im too shy to, or she'll think that the reason they don't work is because I'm doing something wrong! And I'm also too scared to ask about the EMDR, :/ hmmm.

aw, hun. if you're crazy, then I am too. you could be discribing me right now. thought i was the only one! its so hard, but there are places who can do counselling for free, you just have to look around for it. don't settle for what you have because of price if its not helping. hang in there.

they didn't >.< had horrible flashbacks last night. i haven't had quite so bad ones in a long time. deep breathing helped a lil but the questions took way too long to answer & didn't help. blah. im starting to feel like therapy isn't worth it. what's EMDR?
