That, in itself, is the exact definition of circular logic. Most christians believe in God because of a book, which is only made credible if this God exists.

Like what? The fact that some mentioned places and events are true? That is hardly evidence for any kind of truth. If I write a book about aliens planting life on this earth and I mention Ceasar or the War of 1812, that in no way lends credibility to my book.

But the only reason creationism ever seems to get it right is because it relies on its origins, the Bible, as proof. Circular logic doesn't cut it in science.

Then you have a very poor understanding of the explanation it offers and the evidence that exists to support that explanation. And what possible substance does creation offer? A book? If anything, creationism is junk (I wouldn't even call it science).
