    Not able to breastfeed.

That's great :) But if you're a new mom, suffering from PPD or just down in general, having ppl tell you you're a horrible mom for not BF or you didn't try hard enough could have a negative impact on you. I wish women could be nicer to each other especially when it comes to BF/FF.

    Not able to breastfeed.

My stress levels were extremely high and my depression was horrible while I BF. I didn't like it. I gave up after a few weeks/months and I never looked back. Boy did I get flack from it from women/moms who where BFers. I heard all the statistics and was given so much 'info' I never asked for...

When there is a medical emergency.....

The one time we had a real emergency (man died) the pastor and entire congregation began praying for the person. We prayed even with the firemen/ambulance taking him away.

Getting toddlers to eat their vegetables

I started offering veggies to the boys when they were under a year. IF they didn't like a veggie they had to eat 2 pcs. After a few times their palate developed and they would eat it. They are now 5 & 7 and eat every veggie happily except cauliflower. I'm working on that though :P

    Shaving legs

I was super hairy. I started when I was 12/13. I wish my mom took me to get waxed instead. If I had a daughter I would do the waxing at 12/13.

Do you go all out at school parties?

YS class didn't have a Vday party so we just sent Valentine Day cards with candy. OS class did have a party and parents signed up for different items. I sent cupcakes. He also had valentine day cards with tattoos.

    Do you vaccinate?

I've gotten the VaX required for school. I didn't sign a 'religious waver' since I didn't think it applied. My children are very rarely ill (so far no colds or flu this year). I don't do the flu shots nor did I do the H1N1 flu shot. LOL. I know the opposite. All my friends who opted out...

Done with school lunches ... seeking healthy alternatives for 6 and 8 yr old?

I ask the kiddos what they'd like in their lunch. Leftovers (soup, stew, chicken, burritos, pasta) in a thermos container is what they request the most :) Sandwiches (use a variety of meat/cheese and it keeps it different) Bagels w/ cream cheese (if I go this route I include a protein like...

    Potty Training help!!!

:) We didn't give our kiddos a choice. We put undies on them and told them they had to use the bathroom. OS peed in his underwear a few times and didn't like the feeling (we had bowel movements taken care of earlier :P ) YS caught on quickly too. Both were about 2 years old.

New Baby, what room to ut the basinet in?

We placed our youngest in the same room as his sibling. It wasn't an issue. Sibling slept through the night. I'm also a parent who didn't whisper or keep the house very quiet while the babies napped. I made sure to have noise around and live MY normal life so my children got used to there...
