I don't really have an opinion on the dating part of it. But I do believe that when your married, if you need to talk to someone a friend of your own sex would be okay, but not family. I think that can be a bit biased. But a man talking to a woman or a woman talking to a man, bad idea...

It takes a village! I have been in situations like this very often, and i've never been told that I am out of line. We all need help, but for some reason, I'm usually the one having to handle everyone's kids :sigh: I know kids are loud, they run, they play....but once you are breaking things...

:blush: I used to lose my temper with hubby, privately and publicly. I never really knew how noticeable it was to others until my husband pointed out that people kept asking him if we were okay and if we were having marital trouble. It took a lot of prayer and work, but I behave much better...

A friend of mine, who happens to be Catholic, went to counseling with her husband at their church (they were having marital problems)...it was a group type thing and everything she told me about it seemed very God-centered and marriage-centered, not religion centered. I can say the same about...

That sounds pretty selfish on her part. The only time I get upset when hubby plays games is when I really want to spend some quality time with him, and when that's the case, he gets it and we find something we can do together - although if we had Tetris, we'd be spending alot more time together...
