    free laptop?????????

Yeah, like those free ipod things.. You have to sign up to something like 3 out of 6 offers they give you, and then be a member for six months to get a free ipod. The offers are usually those book offers, or dvd offers where you HAVE to purchase 6 books a year, and the first book you order is 49...

Yup, I rented it for xbox. I need to take it back (oops, good job there's no late fees!) I love it, but I'm not that great at it. I want it to be the next game I buy (just bought Tom Clancy's triple pack (Splinter Cell, Rainbow Six 3, Ghost Recon))

Hmm, maybe try reading some christian literature. The Screwtape Letters - C.S. Lewis and The purpose driven life - Rick Warren are both good books to read :)

the reason for this place... please read...

Good post. Yep! I don't pray before making a post either! p.s. But that's something I'm about to change henceforth. :)

Why should I continue to believe?

I suggest keep doing what you're already doing but also... do a little extra to please God. Try doing one good deed a day, every day. Be more Christ like, go out of your way a little bit more to help someone. I've just come out of spell where I wasn't getting anywhere in my relationship, and...

40 Days of Purpose. Day 8

Well, submitting your life to God is not a small thing. I'm rather ashamed, but honest enough, to admit that I was afraid of where He would lead me, what sacrifices He would ask of me. I guess I just kinda buried my head in the sand about it all. Make sense?

40 Days of Purpose. Day 8

Nope, but I started reading it a while back, but I got scared off after about 15 days or so I guess. I started again a few days ago so I'm on day 3 now.. maybe I'll read a few chapters and catch up...

    The Two-Beat Rhythm

I know exactly what you mean! I can find myself in some very foul moods at times, and if I'm honest, sometimes I really don't feel like a Christian. I know that I have a bad attitude, and I sure could do with turning to God more often throughout daily life! Now the problem for me is...

    The Two-Beat Rhythm

I read Soul Journey everyday, and I felt that today's was one that was particularly worth sharing.[/color] Life can get complicated. When my wife and I discovered that we wouldn’t be able to have children, we were thrust into the ethical whirlpool of in-vitro fertilization. If we had...

    A Question for you

Oooh, in fact, if I was feeling particularly argumentative (lol), I could argue that 'evil thoughts' is on that list, and surely getting a tattoo comes from either getting one to be cool, or thinking: 'I like the look of my body more with a tattoo' Since God made one's body, to think that...

    A Question for you

Do you honestly believe that the list is limited to that? What about deliberately cutting oneself? That's not on the list, but it's certainly dishonorable to your body. One's body is not one's own, but it is God's. Anyway, my point is, would God approve? Maybe he'd approve of a crucifix...

    A Question for you

1 corinthians 6:19 Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.
