    The Apocrypha

They were just correcting your mistake. You said it was the NASB. It's just NAB. I usually use the NASB, not the NAB.

Rome says that Muslims Worship the Same God as do Christians

We don't know what was on their hearts. They could have been worshipping the gods because someone made them (like in the book of Daniel).

Rome says that Muslims Worship the Same God as do Christians

    Not all analogies are appropriate.

Did Jesus die to go to Hell?

Is the point of the question to infer why God did something? I'm not sure I like someone saying that God did _____ to do ________ unless it is specifically stated in Scripture.

Rome says that Muslims Worship the Same God as do Christians

I don't think you get to choose whether God finds it sadistic or not. The problem here (and I'm not fully convinced otherwise) you involving logic over Scripture. Do we need to point to Scripture again to say that without Christ there no remission of sins?

    Personal Interpreter

I would certainly encourage everyone to find what the Scripture says. It does not mean that everyone or anyone's view of it is correct. 2 Peter 1:20-2120 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the...

New mark of the beast evedence discovered!

Why is this junk still being posted? Try "Peter Rock". Does that mean that Peter was the Anti-Christ? No. Especially with this crazy 6 or 7 based systems.

Rome says that Muslims Worship the Same God as do Christians

Great post on Scripture. When logic goes against Scripture, the logic is flawed.

    Roman Pope

I agree a lot of Non-Catholics think Peter founded the church just like a lot people think you can get to heaven by being good and hope that your good deeds outweigh you bad ones. That doesn't make it right.

    Roman Pope

When the Bible refers to Babylon, it means Babylon. BTW he also went to Asia. I shouldn't say he never went to Rome, but I just don't agree with this thought that Christians called Rome, Babylon.

    Roman Pope

While I may not be the biggest fan of Catholicism, he is right on. That passage was taken way out of context.

    Unity on Essentials

I think the most common ground that we share is the apostle's creed. I believe it is a good summary of what Christians believe. And yes, I would hope that people would follow Christ as their Shepherd and not another sheep.

    Roman Pope

Thank you for your help so far. I know it is a lot info to toss at someone right away, but to be fair, you did ask me post the rest of the article. I'm just trying to wrap my mind around why someone would completely follow another man. Best wishes and I'll see around I'm sure.

    Roman Pope

From http://www.catholicconcerns.com/Popes.html Again, most certainly bias, but what does it mean to a Catholic? NOTE: I removed the references because the article was too long. The Popes Mary Ann Collins (A Former Catholic Nun) October 2002 HomeEnd The Roman Catholic Church paints a...

    Roman Pope

The point was not the validity of the popes. I trimmed that part out because I wanted to focus on the *evil* of some of the past popes (in *s to show I'm not necessarily making that claim). I'll include the entire article, but I would still like to focus on comments from before about the...

    Roman Pope

Since no one seems to be answering questions, here is a slightly differenct approach. I was reading article about popes. It is obviously bias, but what does it mean in a big picture sense? Again, I'm looking for answers. Please help. "Every church has had its share of tares and wolves...
