I think it is ironic that the title of this thread is "What people believe does not change the truth...." I think it is ironic because what k4c is submitting as truth is not truth but what he believes... The truth about the law and compliance is NOT what k4c "believes."

Agreed Sophia, I was discussing this weekend that very issue i.e. picking and choosing what part of the Levitical code will be followed or ignored... it is quite inconsistent and even harder to explain..

I find it interesting that you refused to follow Paul's logic to the end in Galatians.... the crucial point you chose to leave out: Galatians 3:21 Does the Law disagree with God's promises? No, it doesn't! If any law could give life to us, we could become acceptable to God by obeying that law...
