Since we have a thread about girls being territorial, I'm wondering about the guys. I have some guy friends who, in group activities, are always nearby and aware of who I'm with if they're not at my side. My experience of guy friends, even ones with whom there would clearly be no romantic...

Why would a woman wear a white mantilla as opposed to a black one? Is there a significance for wearing one color or the other?
