    Amber Teething Necklaces?

I got one for my youngest. At the time, I was desperate for anything to stop the screaming. I think it did help a little, she did mellow out a tad after she got it, but that might be just because she thinks it's pretty and is always very concerned about her appearance. You know, `when` you...

    Speaking badly about your kids

As the mother of a son with ears that are a bit sticky-outtie, that hurts my heart. I live in dread of the first time someone mocks him for his ears.

Baby who doesn't really care for baby food

My daughter still wants nothing to do with solid food of any kind. Not baby food, not food from my plate, nothing. Whenever I try to feed her anything she gives me this hilarious worried expression.

Breastfeeding moms~ a place to chat

I'm nursing my Tessa, she's 7 1/2 months old. No solids, yet, for her, not interested at all. She has 2 teeth and does enjoy biting and scraping with them.:sigh: I nursed my older son for 9 months and my younger son wasn't able to nurse, but I pumped for him for 3 months.

10 month old (has no dairy issues)-milk or formula??

I would say he still needs formula. Whole milk doesn't have all the nutrients in it that formula does.

Baby Legs -- like them or not like them?

I think they are adorable, but alas, way too expensive. :sorry: I'd love a pair right now, cause Tessa'a got a rash, so she's just in a prefold with a Snappi and her legs are bare and cold. :(

    anyone else use formula?

I formula fed my second son and didn't face any judgment for it IRL, but I sure did on-line. The IQ thing was thrown in my face several times, especially due to my little guys special needs.

Do you have a "high needs child"?

Tessa is like that. She wants to be held all the time, but she never relaxes in your arms. She's nor cuddly at all. And strangely enough, she's been sick with the croup and now a bad cold and she is so much more pleasant to be around. Phillip's ST said this week that she's never seen Tessa...

    Does it get "easier"?

For me, 1 was easy. C was just a dream baby, so easy-going and laid-back. 2 was difficult, because P was a preemie and has special needs and is still fairly fragile. 3 is driving me over the edge. T is something else. It is difficult to manage all of their needs, bu.t it is getting...
