    Most/least fav parts of Mass?

It distracts from the Mass. Happy Birthday is NOT appropriate during a homily. Perhaps after mass, but I'd still be upset.

    Reilly's CCLII - New Year...New Start

I really dislike when that happens. Luckily Swoosh's birthday was this week, so if it arrives late, I pass it off as a pre-ordered Birthday :)

    Reilly's CCLII - New Year...New Start

Not much here, watching Firefly, enjoying the few quiet moments at the end of the day. Reading through a lot of stuff here, remembering the passion with which I used to write here myself :)

    Most/least fav parts of Mass?

My favorite part is the consecration. It's a reminder every week of the miracle and sacrament that God gave us when He gave us His Son. My least favorite part is when my son wakes up and I miss the homily.

Archdiocese: 'Real Catholic TV' does not speak for Church

Oh and all opinions are biased. So by pointing out that someone else's opinion is just that, your own opinion. You can make an opinion based on facts, but it still lays as an opinion. :) You forgot the condescending sweetie at the end of your post to placate people!

Archdiocese: 'Real Catholic TV' does not speak for Church

While I do realize that Voris isn't without sin...(and I know we aren't either!), he makes a lot of valid points. We have the right to question our leaders in a respectful manner. The cannon law says we have to obey them unless they are doing something that is contradictory to the teachings of...

How many plan on going to a Tridentine Mass in a few weeks?

Already go! Hope it's more widespread. I even started an online forum for members in my area to find out about it! It's exciting!

Why Anne Rice, a Pro-Lifer, Believes Only Democrats Can End Abortion in America

Anyone who supports Planned Parenthood and the ACLU doesn't have my support. I have always been a fan of Anne Rice, and I'm really glad that she has come and voiced her opinion. If nothing else maybe this will open some eyes that voting is really important.

    I need some help

Aww welcome home! Everything everyone has said is good stuff! When I was 17, I know I was going threw a lot and trying to find religion was one of them. The worst thing that happened was being forced to go to one church or another. Perhaps as a family you can get involved in a church event...

    Public Schools

I've read most of the replys...so heres my opinion. PErsonally I went to public school my whole life. I went in Texas from age 5-12, then from 13-18 in Va. WHen I left Texas as a STRAIGHT A student (minus the emotional trama that year.), I was a C and B student in VA. The system was much...
