There must have been death in Paradise even before mans fall...

Granted, that may very well have been His plan... but lets say that we reproduce 10 times slower .... then the earth would still have been uninhabitable in about 500 years at the most!!! Remember it is every living thing on the face of the earth that is reproducing and not dying... If humans...

There must have been death in Paradise even before mans fall...

I just thought out the fly example myself, but I could have picked any living thing. I just picked the fly because it is so small, imagine if I picked something like rhinos!! Anyway I also do not think you understand me because you are starting to talk about dead bodies... but there will be no...

There must have been death in Paradise even before mans fall...

Well this is just my point owg.... :) The flies were obviously only eating fruits and laying there eggs in them because no animals died before sin came into the world. So no rotten bodies. No death. So this also means that there would have been no enemies to the flies because nothing ate them...

There must have been death in Paradise even before mans fall...

Ok, that was the first answer that had some thought behind it - granted. But it still only address the human factor, and even then it just moves the "earth is exhausted" date from about 100 years to about 300 - 400 years. Now I did not even put into the equation the fact that there had to be...

There must have been death in Paradise even before mans fall...

Ok, I think people are kind of missing the point with the flies... It was just an example using one of the smallest creatures on the planet... Lets bring it right home and look at humans .... Allowing that the human race multiplied on the earth after the flood in the ratio that the Israelites...

I have searched everywhere for a good discussion on longevity...

If God put a cap on our lives there then why did all the patriarch (at least they) become older than the cap? And why was Noah, after God made the cap, still over 900 years old, and his sons and everyone up to the age of about Moses? And Moses died at the age of 120 years, so did God make Moses...

There must have been death in Paradise even before mans fall...

Only for the last few days have I been toiling with this idea, that physical death did not come into the world through our sins, but mostly Spiritual death. Now it is not difficult for is to find out with a certain amount of truth that Adam lived about 6000 years ago (Created). Now if we say...

What will one day be the difference between us and the devil??

It makes sense yes, but then I have the following two objections ... God lived in us before the fall, and it took us like a few days to turn agaisnt Him.... why wont' we then do it again.... I think that God already dwells in us (Christians) here on earth, and still we rebel. If you are a...

What will one day be the difference between us and the devil??

That discribes us humans also pretty well, and why will we not one day fall as well ... we are not made higher than the angels, and they fell ... If it is because the "tempter" will be locked up then that does not really say allot about God who has to lock him up to keep us from falling ...

Do all Christians have all spiritual gifts? (Even if they don't use them..)

If you are a Christian, and the Holy Spirit is living inside of you, does that mean that you have also the possibility to do all the spiritual gifts? Paul says that we must seek after the best gifts (1 Cor 12:31), does that mean that it is up to us to decide which ones we want to use in the...

I have searched everywhere for a good discussion on longevity...

Does the bible name a certain age that we should all live to be, if we do not willing offer up our lives to be marters? Should we be living to be like a hundred years old for it is the Lords will, and if we do not then it was because we did not walk in victory? I think this is something that the...

I am struggling to comprehend the following ...

But if they did nothing wrong, then it means that the Lord allowed (or even took) there child to die. And now they are living in fear thinking that the Lord may also take another of there children seeing that He already took one of them without it being there fault... How can they still belive...

I am struggling to comprehend the following ...

Does Psalms not say that the righteous shall see there children and grandcildren grow up and live long lives? Is it not God's will that all of us should live long and prosperous lives? Did the parents of this child do something wrong? Did they maybe not walk in authority over the devil?

I am struggling to comprehend the following ...

It is actually quite simple... If God has the power to save a small child form a gate falling on him and killing him, then why does He not do it? If He allows it, is it not true that is was His will, and was it then the will of God that this small child should die? Can we then still say that...

Who is talked about in Ps 8:4-6 (Man or Jesus)

Ahh, I did not really read the 1 Cor one in that way, but it makes it more sure. What would be the answer to people who use the verses in Ps 8 to prove that God have given MAN the authority to rule over everything and that he have put everything under OUR feet and therefore we must now go and...

What will one day be the difference between us and the devil??

But what about the other angels that fell as well, and like the bible rightly says, when we die, we will be like the angels ...? Also I do not believe that the devil can not humble himself, for in the beginning he must have been made perfect. For maybe he was at the throne of God for a thousand...

What will one day be the difference between us and the devil??

What I mean is the following. I believe that we can conclude from the bible that out of all the beings ever created by God, the devil was the most powerful and inspiring of them all. He was also the closest being to God that there was. Being in His presence all the time. But still, apart form...
