I keep seeing you complaining about ad hominems, propaganda, etc. The funny thing is...you're just as guilty in the ad hominem department and the only propaganda I've seen has come from you.
And attacking the thread is not addressing the topic. For once in this thread would you like to come...
Freedom of speech allows anybody to express their opinions, no matter how stupid they may be.
However that doesn't stop consequences from coming along if someone takes it to the point where it begins to break laws, ie harrassment, abuse, discrimination, etc.
Because heterosexual relationships are so perfect!
By the way...false, false, and false again. And I would like to see you attempt to provide some kind of source for your claims.
By the way....you've posted just as many if not more ad hominems. Don't tell me you're going to resort to...
I see the thread has finally digressed to them resorting to the "pedophilia = homosexuality" argument. Err. Strawman that is.
*headdesk*
Fact: you can choose your actions, but not your feelings. Apply that to sexual
orientation. You don't choose who you're attracted to, you don't choose your...
Right.
And I agree. We're at a point now where racial discrimination is becoming less of a problem in the workplace and in colleges. I think it should be based on socioeconomic status now, not just race.
Not to say that racism is eradicated, it definitely is not.
It seems the article makes the mistake of equating conservatives with republicans.
It also has no sources and has nothing to do with affirmative action.
Either they existed, and just weren't talked about as much, and people did not always have the ability to live with it (because of the lack of knowledge or medicine), or it's becoming more common. Hard to say. I know of a few people when I was younger who had food allergies, we can't exactly say...
As far as I know, those who are affected by the shells and dust and so forth would typically be severe allergy sufferers. That's where I got that from, but I could be wrong. Maybe the correct term would be those who are more sensitive to it.
Wasn't the point of adding the peanuts free section to allow those with severe allergies to be able to go to the ballpark?
Also you don't have to directly order peanuts or something with peanuts in it, to accidentally ingest it. My son once got an ice cream at a place where the person...
There are people who are that sensitive, and for some it is very serious because of the risk of anaphylactic shock.
Even being careful sometimes isn't enough, because even the slightest contact could cause a reaction.
It may or may not be a publicity stunt, I still think it isn't a bad idea.
I've often issued the same challenge to both men and women who claim that sexuality is a choice (and I'm straight).
I would pay to see this. Seriously. But I'm pretty sure all of the fundies are currently holing themselves up somewhere in order to avoid it.
I don't think you do just "get over it". It happened, it doesn't just disappear. You deal with it, live with it, and life goes on.
That may sound kind of depressing, but you need to master what happened to you instead of repressing it.
Whoa!! You have to be the only person ever on the face of the planet throughout history to come up with that one!!
By the way..current events does not mean your sudden moments of genius being posted in the wrong section on a website.
Way to go, Einstein.
This is good. My son has a peanut allergy, and trust me...it's no fun to shoot your kid with an Epi Pen everytime he's accidentally exposed to something that was exposed to peanuts.
We can only hope it's not as bad as it sounds, or that it never happened at all. It'd be horrible if it did.
It could go either way I guess. There are some teachers out there who are actually that bad. Then again, this case could be exaggerated.
