The scriptures teach that the Lord will return more than just one time.

You are ignoring the radical difference begeen hat as aid in chapter 4 and what was said in chapter 5. Chapter 4 revealed a "mystery," that is, something tha was not nown earlier. But chapter 5 speaks of things they had alrrady been taught.

The scriptures teach that the Lord will return more than just one time.

What the Holy spirit said through the Apostle was "we ask you, not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come." (2 Thessalonians 2:1-2) The Greek word here correctly translated "had come" is "enestechev."...

Actually, "doctrinal bias" SHINES through ALL of your answers. DENYING that the scriptures MEAN what they EXPLICITLY SAY, is the very DEFINITION of "doctrinal bias."

The scriptures teach that the Lord will return more than just one time.

To add more detail to my OP, here is an Itemized Proof that the Rapture will Be Before the Tribulation 1. Many insist that the Bible clearly teaches that the Lord will only return one time, But no passage in the entire Bible says that. It is true that the New Tetament only uses the singular in...

The scriptures teach that the Lord will return more than just one time.

The scriptures teach that the Lord will return more than just one time.

You are looking at the wrong verse, the word auton is used in verse 6 concerning the "mystery of iniquity," not concerning "the restrainer." in verse 7, "the restrainer" is o (masculine) katechon (also masculine.)

The scriptures teach that the Lord will return more than just one time.

That is ABSOLUTELY incorrect. There is not even ONE statement, anywhere in the entire Bible, that our Lord will only return one time.

The scriptures teach that the Lord will return more than just one time.

No, my view is based on what the scriptures EXPLICITLY say, in PLAIN, CLEAR words. There is no "speculation" involved. And I neither said, nor even implied, that the "third coming view" is "hidden."

The scriptures teach that the Lord will return more than just one time.

You are forgetting that, in the entire Old Testament, There was not even ONE statement that the great promised Messiah would come more than just one time. But the Old testament contained many details about the comiing of Messiah that SEEMED to be contradictions. For instance, How could a meek...

The scriptures teach that the Lord will return more than just one time.

This doctrine has been documented to have been taught by at least three Christian writers in truly ancient times. (Including the author of the very oldest surviving Christian commentary on Bible prophecy of any significant length.) It has also been documented to have been taught by at least...

The scriptures teach that the Lord will return more than just one time.

I do not see how He could even possibly be anything but the Holy Spirit. For it calls Him "He," not "it."

A Widely Circulated Error About the Greek Word Apantesis, or Apantesin

The ones who are shut out are not ever included in the wedding. Luke 12, which, by the way, is NOT a parable, but an instruction, is about a different time and a different people.

The scriptures teach that the Lord will return more than just one time.

The scriptures clearly describe two different future comings of the Lord, in which He will come for two different groups of His own, for which He will come in two different characters, and in which He will make two different gatherings into two different places, and at two different times...
