I agree. I believe the Jabez prayer was quoted to show that God can and will bless us if we ask and seek His blessings but to make that prayer into something that it seems to have become is off the mark. Where's the relationship in a prayer like that..? You can't know God intemately by...

Great thread. I was reading Revelation not long ago and God showed me that the conditions of these seven churches are also conditions that can affect each Christian's heart. In other words, each of us can become as any of these churches if we're not dilligent about our relationship with God...
