    What prenatals are you taking?

Just regular ones I bought in the supermarket. I don't think vitamins are something that is necessarily prescribed here in Australia. I made sure the ones I was taking have calcium because morning sickness turned my stomach every time I had any dairy product.

    Naming My Baby

I think you should just do it, you don't need to say anything to the cousin.

    Pregnant...???

I am expecting my third..... All of those sound like normal pregnancy symptoms. I did one test which came back negative, then another a few days later which came back positive. I would test again, or even bettter, just go to the doctor, they will know once you get a blood test if you are...

    MMR Vaccine, its not over

I have always thought the risk of immunisation was less than the risk of not having it done.

    Thread for Mathclub

There are obnoxious people everywhere and it usually has little to do with their religous beliefs. I don't choose my friends according to religion and a lot of them I have no idea what their religion is (unless I met them at church or work - I work in a Christian school and all the staff a...

    Friends vs Family

I think there comes a time when you need to spend time with friends as well as family. Although from the original post those don't sound like friends I would want to spend time with.

Just wondering who of my old friends is still around here.....

how to get your daughter to church

I remember being around 12 when I decided I was too old for children's church. I think she will start to sort this out herself. Are there any girls around the 11-13 age group in the church - maybe you could arrange that they could sit near each other in church. I think she would be more...

    guilty mum

I really love that girls night idea. I am in a similar situation. My children are 9 and 5. I am working in a preschool as an assistant. I find it hard to keep on top of work, children's homework, and housework. I am studying at night ( to get my teaching degree)

Do you think it's reasonable for my husband to do his own ironing

This sounds like a really stupid question but the background in our marriage is we have 2 children aged 9 and 5. I have been mostly stay at home mum since my eldest was born. I have always done a few jobs here and there for extra pocket money but not normally more than 5 hours a week. At the...

Does anyone have thoughts,What we should be teaching 2 year olds?

Wow, he sounds like a clever little cookie. When mine were that age - they were nowhere near that level. I would just keep tyring to encourage him in his learning at the level he is at. If he is enjoying it, then keep at it, if he deosn't enjoy it then back off a little. I think at 2...

    kids' friends

I am at the stage with most of my son's friends where I do know the parents and am happy for him to go to parties and things and I drop him off and leave him there. Sleepovers - no - I am nowhere near ready to let him have a sleepover, there's probably 2 parents I would be happy to leave him...
