    Amy Lee of Evanescence

just because they can sing live doesn't mean they don't use devices like that. Many singers even use vocal enhancers live. I know Cher sings into a pitch corrector when she sings live. You see a lot of people running the mike through the keyboard to do a lot of different effects.

REM taught me how to play guitar. They were my favorite band for a while, until I discovered Radiohead. I know all the critics and people like that like Murmur best, but my favorite album is Automatic for the People

    Would you run?

i would run. it's not like, in running, i am denying christ or anything. it's not like someone put a gun to my head and said, "call christ a ********* or i'll shoot you." two psychos come into my church flashing guns around, i'm running.

I guess I have a grudge against U2 because they beat Radiohead earlier. Pink Floyd it is. Actually, out of all the bands named in the entire poll, I would probably pick Pink Floyd as the greatest band of all time anyway, even though Radiohead is my personal favorite band. Right now...

ACLU comes to Rush Limbaugh's defense

I have two questions for the self-described "conservatives" on this thread. 1. how is this ironic? 2. what's so bad about the ACLU?

    Satanic TV Saturday Night

Just kidding. When Saturday Night Live began airing, it was the most potent, biting political satire on the air. There were sex jokes, but they were not as explicit as what you see now. Over the years, many members of the general public have decided to become pansies and be very easily...

BATTLE OF THE BANDS - heat eleven

I think these are bad bands to compare, personally. I think a better poll would be Radiohead vs. Oasis or Radiohead vs. REM (I realize that REM was already up against Red Hot Chili Peppers). Puddle of Mudd doesn't really stand a chance here.
