Australian Minimum Wage Increased by 5.75%

Well you seem to be good at math. So if you say raising the price of something by 35 cents will mean wages will go from $9 to $22 plus all those other perks, I'll take your word for it.

Australian Minimum Wage Increased by 5.75%

What I'm saying is when there's a higher base salary, there's a higher cost of living. San Francisco McDonald's workers are also paid $22 per hour. See that meme is based on a tweet by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Who's not all that bright in my opinion. She probably looked at the per hour pay in a...

Target removes some LGBTQ+ items after threats to workers ahead of Pride month

Perhaps. Or perhaps it's becoming a popular trend. After all orthodox conservative Christianity is the enemy of LGBT, whereas the hedonistic philosophy of Satanism supports LGBT. Whereas Christianity is supposed to be about denial of self and serving the will of Christ. Satanism is about self...

Trump Announces His Plan to Change Constitution by Executive Order - End Birthright Citizenship

That could be one outcome. Another outcome is it could present there being less incentive to illegally enter the US to give birth. The circumstances are a lot different than they were during the Regan era. Also folks seem to forget that President Clinton was very much against illegal immigration.

Australian Minimum Wage Increased by 5.75%

To me it makes more sense to hear from minimum wage employees on what they experience financially, than from those who are far removed from that experience.

Australian Minimum Wage Increased by 5.75%

You seem to operate under the assumption that every burger joint employee makes burgers. Also it's likely that burger joints operate based on a bottom line as far as how much is allocated to payroll, no matter how many burgers are sold per hour on average.

Australian Minimum Wage Increased by 5.75%

The "fight for $15" was pre-covid. And what it comes down to in basics is, when McDonald's employees pay went from $10 per hour to $15, then $5 hamburgers started costing $8. Now I'm not protesting against wage increases. All I'm saying is when there is an increase, we just end up back where we...

Australian Minimum Wage Increased by 5.75%

A 5.75% increase isn't too significant. I just hope do gooders don't insist on a more substantial increase in the future. Since it didn't work out so good for us over here.

Drag queen story time is worse than ads for hyper sexualized reality tv shows?

Unfortunately there won't be another opportunity to involve me in your mishigas. Fish tacos sound good though. It's been quite a while since I had them. I'll have to take a stroll over to the taco joint tomorrow afternoon. Thanks for the suggestion.

Drag queen story time is worse than ads for hyper sexualized reality tv shows?

Because I never said that. You'll have to ask the OP, as that is their premise. It's fairly common knowledge that many people are uncomfortable with it because they believe it's an attempt to indoctrinate young children in transexuality. Which many people believe is inappropriate for young...

Drag queen story time is worse than ads for hyper sexualized reality tv shows?

I haven't seen ads for hyper-sexualized reality content nor hyper-sexualized reality content itself. So I can't really point out problems I do or do not have with it. I was replying to the OP said regarding the difference between the two regarding children. To refresh: Drag queen story hour...

Drag queen story time is worse than ads for hyper sexualized reality tv shows?

I haven't seen ads for hyper-sexualized reality content nor hyper-sexualized reality content itself. So I can't really point out problems I have with it. The OP is the one who brought it up. And all I did was ask the OP a question about it.
