I have had a few white strands since junior high. Thank you, mother.

And since those were pure white I thought I would end up with a head full of the white brittle hair early.
Which goes with the fact that I have fine hair.

That has not come to pass yet.
A few years ago I started to get a few more strands.
My lovely hairdresser likes to point them out.
It blends well - still mostly brunette.

Besides any white strands on my clothes I can blame on my cat. :D

I have have had a few gray hairs since my teens and they are getting more numerous, although from the distance you can't really tell. My hair has also started to thin at the top in the past few years. I have tried a vitamin-enriched conditioner to help stop the thinning, and it seems to be working, as I have not noticed any more significant thinning.

I think to think of my gray hairs as blonde highlights! So far I have been able to convince myself of that.....
I was born with black hair which fell out and came in white. It was then white blond, blond, sandy blond, sandy brown, brown, dark brown, dark brown with the occasional grey at the temples.... It thinned on the front, but I hope that means it'll just fall out and come in white going to blond again to restart the cycle!

I've looked at the Grecian Formula and Just For Men hair products in the store, but haven't felt compelled yet to try them (yet). Judging from my parent's change in hair color over the years, mine will probably also gradually change at the same pace. I think it's an enhancement of one's appearance that goes well with age and maturity.
