I agree Tyler we are living in the end times. This statement in your post troubles me...

you want to put children in the hands of sexual perverts??

I may be reading in thoughts that you are not implying. I do not believe these children are at a risk of being abused sexually. That is an evil of a completely different nature. I hope you agree.

You want to give gays rights then to adopt??? You should be ashamed! You carry the title Christian but refuse to stand up for what is right. We are surely living in the end times!
I don't think anybody who voices their opinion here should be ashamed! Our views on the subject are different and if we don't agree with YOU, then there must be something wrong with US. We never once said homosexuality was not a sin, not once! But, why should loving, caring people be prohibited from adoption, as they are fully capable of being good parents!

Hello Catchup!
God calls homosexuality perversion, read Romans1:26-32,
Catholic edition. I'm not saying these children will be sexually abused by gay parents. What I am saying is that adoption by gays is clearly against the will of God. It does not matter what I or you think then, as a Christian we are bound by God's will. It does not matter then if you are the only person left on the earth who thinks this way. God's will is more important than trying to be the worlds friend! I am sure there are some gays out there that are well meaning. However it makes no difference, whatever God says we must follow, to do otherwise you do the will of Satan. I do not hate gays, I feel sorry for them and pray they will turn from their lifestyle and find Christ. Do not trust the words of any man, read your bibles and follow God, for He will never leave you nor forsake you!

God Bless
Tyler

wow, i guess i missed the rivers turning to blood and the sky turning black as sackcloth.
tyler, what the hell are you so afraid of? the way you go on and on, i'm inclined to think there's something you're not sharing with the rest of the class.
you feel sorry for gays, ty? you should. they have to put up with close minded bigots such as yourself on a daily basis. you really think people choose to be gay?
yes, i'm sure there are people who just wake up one day and think, "yah, i think i'd really like to be persecuted, cursed at, spat on, and maybe even beat up because of my lifestyle. right on!"
doesn't that little book of yours teach about accepting people despite their faults (or what you see as faults, i should say)?

There is a truck driver driving along, and he stops and picks up a priest to give him a
ride.
He's driving down the highway and he sees a lawyer along the side of the road and thinks,
"Hot damn! A lawyer that I could run over!" So he speeds up and heads straight for him.

At the last second he remembers the priest with him. So he swerves real quick to miss him,
but still hears a thump. He looks behind, no sign of the lawyer.
He says to the priest "Wow, that was a close one, I almost hit that lawyer!"
The priest then replies "That's ok son, I got him with my door."

Hi Amie,
Remember I invested all my blessings in you yesterday?? Well, you must be fertile ground. I have already received an abundant harvest. And the best part is, I didn't have to do a lick of work. Imagine that !! Ta Ta

I am new here at these forums. I am a firm believer in God and Jesus Christ. I believe in all the teachings of Christ. Is it not wrong for us to judge that gay people would not be good parents? I am a married man, and I have not bad feelings against anyone, gay, straight or otherwise. I believe in what Christ taught and that is for us not to judge. I think it is for God Himself to judge others. If a person is gay, I have no problem with that myself, for I believe that God should be the judge not me. I cannot help but believing that a gay person could be a good parent. As far as that lifestyle, I believe it is not up to me to judge (cast not the first stone), but for God to do the judging. He knows what is inside each person and how that person feels and what made a person what he or she is. As good Christians, we should allow God to decide and we should accept people as they are (remember Jesus and Mary Magdalene). The world has enough troubles without all of us adding to the problems. Let God decide and judge and let us accept ALL people with love and grace. Do you all understand what I am trying to say? I will NEVER cast the first stone. "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone." Yes, let God decide!!!
