Well, the media is saying that the US troops who were in Afghanistan first, and have returned to the USA are currently training somewhere in Louisania. And they showed footage yesterday (CNN or MSNBC, sorry, I'm unsure which) of the military base, and the soldiers who were training there said it was tougher than their time spent in Afghanistan. There are being trained in up close building combat and also suicide bombings. And going to Israel was also mentioned.

I doubt if we go into Jerusalam, there is no need, the gospel is being preached there. We need to open up North Korea and deal with Sadam to get the gospel into those countries. I think Bush knows that. They say he prays, reads his Bible and makes some attempt to be lead by God in what he is doing. Thanks, JohnR7

I doubt there will be U.S. troops anywhere in Israel, the Israelis will never allow it. To them, it would be all too similar to having Roman soldiers there 2000 years ago. Its a sign of lost sovereignity when foreign armies occupy your land.

Peace there will never happen, even the Bible tells us that much. The best solution would be to drive the Palestinians out of Judea and Samaria into the already existing Palestinian state: Jordan. Theres no need for two. This most likelu won't happen though, they'd take too much heat from the UN.

Instead, unilateral separation seems to be the course they're following. The Israeli army already has enough fencing to build a fence the whole length of the country. If this does happen, there is sure to be a resolution concerning the status of the Temple mount. That's what i'm waiting to find out the most.

It wouldn't surprise me at all to see an American "peacekeeping" force in Israel, along the West Bank and Golan Heights some time soon. The Israelis would not see this as an invasion, but as an allied support operation. They do consider us as their ally right now. But lately, as we've been fighting our own war on terrorism, they've been wondering why we aren't helping them out. The reason will become clear, if we do put troops in there. The "powder keg", that everybody refers to the Middle East as, will explode as the side that the US is truly on will finally be known to all the neighboring Arabic states.

Whew! I gotta get outta here... Starting to sound like a Tom Clancy novel... Peace

Well, didn't you know the US gives the Palestinians
seventy-five million ($75,000,000) dollars a year?
I guess you just did not know.

Better double check your history. The U.S. had nothing to do with forming the nation of Israel, nor did its help come anywhere close to what the Soviets gave to the Arabs. Don't underestimate the power of God to keep his promises, and the resolve of a people with their backs to the sea. Regardless of what was done in the past, observers and occupying armies are 2 totally separate issues, and the latter would be nothing but an insult to the Israelis.

Actually it's the USA that owes its existence to a Jew named Haym Salomon. Without him, there probably would have been no US. Here's how we got our start:

>>Er, I don't think killing and imprisoning people is how the Gospel is to be spread, JohnR7.

Matthew 24:6
And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

Jesus said these things must come to pass. From what I hear the soldiers that actually went into Afganstan were very religious. If they were not working, they were not out drinking and chasing women, they were reading their bible or a training manual.

My son considered going into the navy seals, but it turned out that it was just to much discipline for him.

Before the US went into Afganstan, TV was against the law. Now the Afgan networks are back on the air, and people have taken their TV out of the closet. The US now controls the text books used to teach the children in that country. Because no one else has any money to buy them.

Who's gospel do you want to pay the printing charges for, when it cost about $5 to print a book now a days? What translation of the Bible are you willing to sponser? Who is willing to put their hard earned money into what they believe? Thanks, JohnR7

>>twelve legions of angels

It is going to be the angels who will do most of the work of bringing in the final harvest. But the Bride will be out gleaning the fields, and also, the angels will throw then hand fulls on purpose to strengthen & encourage them. It is all in the book of Ruth. Thanks, JohnR7

Matthew 13:39b the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the angels.

There will be many of the dead laying about,by angel and body...there is much yet you understand not..for yet you read your eye does not to see. The sword of God carries two powers the ability to cut the flesh and the spirit, for this is it's ability to have wrathe sharper than any two edged sword (of man). amen
adelpit I am nothing
I walk in peace.
The sword of God same as the rod has five sides.
But it is spiritual and has two edges: it cuts across the flesh and the other the spirit and thus for the fall from the south upon the enemy, all this with the hands holding the antichrists are done entirely of the LORD and not the will of man. amen
Not so much as a single man will fall from a beat of the swoed by the natural man , but by the SPIRIT within him. amen
The rod has the power to remove from the mind of men all thought and the ability to destroy nations by fire. amen
adelpit
I am nothing.

The Cost of Israel to you as American taxpayers'

The Cost of Israel to the American People

by Richard Curtiss

By now many Americans are aware that Israel, with a population of only 5.8 million people, is the largest recipient of U.S. foreign aid, and that Israel’s aid plus U.S. aid to Egypt’s 65 million people for keeping the peace with Israel has, for many years, consumed more than half of the U.S. bi-lateral foreign aid budget world-wide.......
