Why did God create aliens? Why are there other worlds? What do they know of Christ? Do you think that these beings are inherently 'different' and that they know of God and what He did for the Earth? Does this mean that God did the same for other worlds or is it just Earth and why? Why,would God create the world as He did, needing Christ's atonement for mankind? If He created us differently as He has other beings elsewhere, why not help us evolve as they have?
P.S. This is 'assuming' of course that in response you even believe this is so.Thanks for any ideas and even Biblical references.

GOD ALMIGHTY created only Earth, space is an illusion, and stars are tiny holes in the "roof" of Earth which allow the LIGHT OF HEAVEN to shine through! GOD created the world for His own reasons, who are you to question Him?

~Me.

HAHAHAHAHAHA.. space is an illusion... hahahahaha!

Do you actually believe that, or are you just playing the ignorant self-deluding YEC?

Well, Genesis does talk about angels as if they were able to come to earth and mate with humans.

Maybe angels are actually aliens, but they are with god because they didnt fall for the Snake and fruit trick god played on them, and thus can still walk with god.

(Yes, that was just a complete random thought).

I'd like to point out that there isn't any proof that aliens exist. Although I'm sure there is life beyond Earth, and I wouldn't be surprised if some form of primitive life is found in our solar system over the next few decades.

However, if contact with an extraterrestrial civilization does occur and these beings never had a god concept or one radically different from our views, I'd say that would stir up some serious theological issues in Earth's religions.

You assume too much. You are assuming aliens exist. This isn't a fair question as noone has established for certain that aliens exist. Further, we don't know what they are if they do.

In case you missed it, Area 51, the highly tauted "alien research lab" was built for Lockheed Martin and is merely a place where highly secret aircraft were tested. Hence the heavy security so far away from the actual facility.

If proven, I think the thought of aliens would be kind of neat, but to my knowledge, there is no credible evidence.

Alien simply means life outside of Earth just as we would be "Aliens" to them. Right now someone somewhere else may be saying they have no proof that anything else is out there. The probablem is the exteme disstances to even get out of our own solar sytem. To make it to the next whic is relatively close would take us 150,000 years on our own space shuttle. We have not been past our own moon..so of course we have no proof because we are not able to travel past our own front porch. over 170 planets have been discovered in our galaxy alone (and that is only a small portion we can see) think of al lthe OTHER Stars like our Sun in our own Galaxy then think of the Billions of other Galaxies each will 400 Billion+ stars... If there is nothing else it seems strange that there is so much else out there?? The stars we see are a small area at the end of one of the pin-wheel arms of the Milky way that our Solar system occupies. I will make some posts this weekend illustrating this for anyone who has never seen this. It is mind expanding, to be sure.

LOL, random thought for you but it is my belief!

The "sons of God" that you referred to as the angels in Genesis 6 are actually fallen angels. The alien abductions we hear about today I believe are of the same phenomenon.

I believe in this phenomenon but I don't believe these aliens are a people from another world. I believe they are fallen angels and not with God.

I doubt that there is any other sentient life around, at least in our galaxy: If it were probable, it would have happened more than twice. now our development is relatively late, since all the dinosaurs were destroyed a while back, and mammals more or less developed from that point onwards. assuming that some species came about from the opening stages of the evolution of life, with the planet the same age as hours, they would have had maybe another 10 million years on top of our rather small 20,000 years of development.... they have had alot more time, so even expanding at the relatively sedate pace of about 0.1c, they would still occupy a region of space some 1 million light years in radius. (bearing in mind that a truly spacebound race would have the power of entire stars at it's command, and not just a few whiffy bits of chemicals like we do)

where are they?

Fermi's Paradox. And it's true, if alien intelligence has evolved, by all rights they SHOULD be here. Only possibilities are that indeed we are alone or we are being left alone.

Our methods of trying to detect alien civilizations is pretty primitive. We are assuming an other wordly civilization would be beaming a high-powered "HELLO!" message via radio out into space and in our direction, whereas we aren't even doing that.

If an advanced civilization has a Star Trek "Prime Directive" (non-interference law), then they could easily hide theirselves from us. It'll probably only be until we start traveling deep into space where we'll finally make contact - or they'll make contact with us.

Sadly, with the current space program and seemingly total lack of interest in space by the government, it won't happen in any of our life times.
